Drayton Valley’s annual Mayor’s Gala wrapped up last Friday evening, and awards were distributed to recognize the outstanding individuals, businesses and organizations in the community.
Community members gathered for the awards ceremony at the MacKenzie Conference Centre on Sept. 18.
The following award winners were announced:
- Community Spirit: Carolynn Charron
- Oil and Gas: Floyd Lauer
- Healthcare and Emergency Services: Heidi Baglole
- Employer of the Year: Riley Swendseid
- Youth Empowerment: Jalen Sandy
- Arts and Athletics: Cody Blackmore
