Watermain construction to cause partial intersection closure on Sept. 10 in Drayton Valley

Watermain construction is prompting a closure on 56 Avenue in Drayton Valley today.

Starting Sept. 10, weather permitting, the east side of the intersection of 56 Avenue and 50 Street will be closed to all traffic.

The town says detour routes and traffic control signage will be in place to help guide motorists in the area.

Drivers in the area should allow for extra travel time and expect delays.
