Lane closure and speed restriction in effect on Highway 16 west of Evansburg

Motorists heading west from the Evansburg region may run into delays this afternoon as cleanup activities are underway.

According to 511 Alberta, a speed restriction of 80 km/h is in effect on Highway 16 westbound, near Highway 22.

A lane closure is also in effect, and travellers should expect delays.

The work is expected to be complete by 5 p.m. tomorrow, Sept. 3.
