Construction on 54 Street and 50 Avenue in Drayton Valley is underway and expected to cause closures this week.
Concrete work on catch basins began along 54 Street on July 21.
On July 23, access to the intersection of 50 Avenue and 54 Street will be closed, weather permitting. The town says this closure is to accommodate the construction of a concrete swale and is expected to be in place until July 31.
Detour routes will be in place around the closure.
Following the August long weekend, road resurfacing is also set to begin in the area.
