Nominations are open for the 2026 Northern Alberta Farm Family Awards.
The Alberta Association of Agricultural Studies says the awards celebrate families who demonstrate excellence in farming, community leadership and leaving a lasting legacy on the land.
Northern and central Alberta municipalities have an opportunity to nominate a local family farm for the awards every second year.
Winners will receive tickets to the annual Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies Banquet in Edmonton, where they will receive a gate sign and a garden bench in recognition of the award.
Brazeau County residents can nominate a local family farm by emailing dmccann@brazeau.ab.ca.
