Water main and hydrant flushing is taking place in the hamlets of Cynthia and Rocky Rapids in Brazeau County.
From May 25-29, 2026, officials say there may be fluctuations in pressure within the county’s water supply system.
Residents may experience cloudy or discolored water because of the flushing. Officials say this is normal and is only a temporary condition.
However, it is recommended to run your largest faucet (example: bath tub) until the water is clear. If reduced flow is found through faucets after these dates, your faucet aerator may require a cleaning.
