A Drayton Valley Thunder player has been named to the Alberta Junior Hockey League’s (AJHL) Inter Pipeline AJHL All-Academic Team for the 2025-2026 season.
The All-Academic Team recognizes players who have demonstrated dedication to their studies at the high school or post-secondary level, along with a grade score reflective of their academic success.
The AJHL says the selected players are exceptional student-athletes working to further their athletic and academic achievements.
The Drayton Valley Thunder’s Daniel Zhou has made the team, along with:
- Maxwell Pendy – Bonnyville Pontiacs
- Mason Koponyas – Calgary Canucks
- Miles Copeland – Camrose Kodiaks
- Easton Milne – Canmore Eagles
- Declan Brinkman – Devon Xtreme
- Brandon Williams – Drumheller Dragons
- Patani Mutambo – Fort McMurray Oil Barons
- Ethan Kronewitt – Grande Prairie Storm
- Dylan Deets – Lloydminster Bobcats
- Hubert Larose – Olds Grizzlys
- Kyle Tucker – Whitecourt Wolverines
