Nominations are open for the 2026 Mayor’s Gala Awards in Drayton Valley.
The annual event recognizes and appreciates the businesses, individuals and organizations that make the community exceptional.
The town encourages residents to nominate a local hero for an award. In particular, it’s looking to celebrate businesses that go the extra mile, organizations that consistently raise the bar and individuals or groups whose contributions have meaningfully impacted the community.
Nominations will be accepted until June 30 in the following categories:
- Arts and Athletics Excellence Award
- Community Spirit Award
- Employer of the Year Award
- Healthcare and Emergency Services Award
- Oil and Gas Award
- Youth Empowerment Award
Nominations can be submitted online.
Awards will be distributed in a special ceremony on Sept. 18 at the MacKenzie Conference Centre.
