A Devon resident has died following a serious collision near Enoch.
At 10:51 p.m. on April 20, Enoch and Parkland RCMP received a report of a collision on Highway 60 and 51 Avenue, just outside Enoch.
Emergency responders tended to two dirt bike riders at the scene. Police say the passenger, a 20-year-old Devon resident, was declared deceased. The driver, a 16-year-old Devon resident, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The lone occupant of the other vehicle involved, a pickup truck with a trailer, was not injured.
The RCMP investigated the scene for several hours and determined the dirt bike was crossing the highway when it was struck by the pickup.
The RCMP send their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
