Snowy weather across Alberta has meant stuck cars and dicey commutes this morning.
Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) says a storm making its way across the prairies is expected to slam Alberta with as much as 20 centimetres of snow.
In the Drayton Valley region, that snow could accumulate as high as 40 centimetres, according to ECCC, but it is expected to end tonight.
Officials say travel will be challenging and residents should prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
This snowfall warning is in effect for Brazeau County, near Drayton Valley and Breton, as well as Parkland and Yellowhead County.
