A Drayton Valley resident is $250,000 richer after winning an Extra draw.
Saimone Sekona said it was hard to believe he was seeing things correctly when he scanned his ticket on the Lotto Spot app.
“I thought my phone was playing tricks on me!” he laughed. “I was excited!”
Sekona shared the news with his family right away, and said he was looking forward to enjoying the holiday season with a little extra.
“I was already going on holiday but now I can do a little more,” he said. “I feel amazing – it’s the biggest prize I have ever won!”
Sekona purchased his winning Lotto Max and Extra ticket from Fas Gas (5001 50 Street) in Drayton Valley. He won his prize by matching all seven digits in the Nov. 18 Extra draw: 6445407.
