The Parkland RCMP is currently investigating reports of potential police impersonation incidents involving a suspicious vehicle in and around Parkland County.
The vehicle is described as a black Chevrolet Tahoe, possibly a 2015 model, equipped with a push bar and a blue and yellow lighting package. Police say this combination may resemble an unmarked police vehicle, which has reportedly been used to mislead motorists by flashing the lights. Erratic driving has also been reported.
RCMP asks the public to stay vigilant. If you are approached or stopped by a vehicle matching this description, please call 911 if you feel unsafe, and request identification from anyone claiming to be a police officer.
