The RCMP’s Musical Ride, a symbol of tradition, honour, and pride, will be returning to communities across Alberta this summer.
The musical ride troop, which features 32 RCMP officers and their horses, will perform different formations and drills to music at shows at 20 stops in Alberta.
This includes stops in Mayerthorpe, Whitecourt, Calgary, Edmonton, Pincher Creek, Red Deer, St. Paul, Cold Lake, Lloydminster, Strathmore, Medicine Hat, Rocky View County, Camrose, Athabasca, Wabasca, High Level, La Crête, Fairview and Donnelly.
On July 30, they’ll be at 12504 Fox Drive NW in Edmonton. Then, they stop in Mayerthorpe on August 30 at the Gymkhana Grounds.
Alberta RCMP Indigenous Policing Services and recruiters will also be at many of the Musical Ride events this summer.
The RCMP’s Musical Ride performances help raise thousands of dollars for local charities and non-profit groups.
