Chase Lassman, of Parkland County, secured first place in the 2025 NextGen Western Golf Championship (Junior Boys) over the weekend.
The event was held at the Trestle Creek Golf Resort May 30-June 1.
Lassman finished at an even par after shooting 72 in round one, 71 in round two, and 73 in the third round for a total of 216.
He practices at the Edmonton Petroleum Golf and Country Club.
Meantime, Drayton Valley Golf Club competitor Rylan Pearson withdrew after scoring 100 in round one, while Grady Enyedy was cut for the third round.
Enyedy finished at +37, scoring 87 in the first round and 94 in the second, for a two-round total of 181.
