Drayton Valley residents from all generations are invited to a combined Intergenerational Conference and Seniors’ Appreciation Event taking place at the beginning of next month.
On June 3, the town and district’s Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) will host a day of activities designed to build relationships between generations.
The conference starts the day off at 9 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. The appreciation event, which includes lunch, takes place 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
In addition to mingling and breakout sessions, there will be a resource fair for agencies to showcase their services for seniors and/or youth.
Attendees have the option of joining both events or just one. Both are completely free to attend and will be held at the MacKenzie Conference Centre.
Those who are interested in attending are asked to call 780-514-2204 by May 27 to register.
