The Town of Drayton Valley is asking residents to weigh in on the state of policing in the community as part of a review aimed at identifying key priorities and areas for improvement.
A public survey, which opened May 12 and runs until May 26, is seeking feedback on a wide range of policing-related issues. The initiative is part of town council’s ongoing effort to enhance public engagement and ensure local voices help shape community safety strategies.
Residents are being asked to assess current police services, highlight the top three issues they believe need attention, and identify both successes and shortcomings in how law enforcement operates in Drayton Valley. The survey also invites comments on what levels of government or external resources might be needed to support local policing efforts.
Town officials say the results will be compiled into a public report and presented to council for consideration.
The survey is available online here at with paper copies accessible at the town office.
