A member of the Drayton Valley/Brazeau County Fire Services team has been recognized by the federal government for her years of dedicated service to the community.
Yellowhead MP Geral Soroka presented Administrative Assistant Carla Roy with the King Charles III Coronation Medal on Wednesday, March 12.

This medal was created to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III and is presented to individuals who have demonstrated long-standing service to the Fire and Rescue sector with at least five years of dedicated service.
