Officials with the Town of Drayton Valley have received a development permit application that would see a contracting company established in the area of 52 Street and Industrial Road.
According to the application, this contractor company would be located at 5219 Industrial Road, and work would include, but is not limited to, roofing and exterior and interior renovations.
As this area is zoned for commercial use, officials say a public notification must be made before the application can be approved.
Any residents who feel this business may negatively impact their quality of life or the value of their property are being asked to submit an appeal in one of the following ways:
- In-person at the Town of Drayton Valley Civic Centre: 5102 – 52 Street, Drayton Valley.
- By regular mail: Box 6831, Drayton Valley, Ab, T7A 1A1.
- Or by emailing the Planning and Development Department at plandev@draytonvalley.ca.
The deadline to submit appeals is 4:30 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 13.
