Yellowhead County FCSS is offering meet & greet events to introduce new residents to the communities which make up the region.
In partnership with local libraries, FCSS is inviting those that would like to learn about the communities and meet neighbours to one of the “Welcome to the County” sessions running this September.
The sessions will offer information about services and programs offered through the County’s community services department, including upcoming programming, available grants, and the various services available.
Dates, times and locations for the events include:
- Niton Junction Library (located in the school): Sept. 14 from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
- Wildwood Library (5215-50 St.): Sept. 19 from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
- Evansburg Library (located in Grand Trunk High School): Sept. 21 from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Local residents interested in meeting and welcoming County newcomers are also invited to attend, the County adds.
Registration is required to attend this event, and that can be done here: https://app.univerusrec.com/yhcountypub/index.asp.
Registration will remain open until the day of each session.
