As life starts to get back to normal in the community, the Town of Drayton Valley says it knows that many people have questions and concerns about dozer guards on their property and fences that were damaged as a result of fire operations.
Brazeau County and the Town of Drayton Valley say they are actively working to identify affected properties and a plan for dozer guard reclamation and fence replacement. As plans are solidified and put in place, the municipalities say they will keep the community informed on next steps.
Officials advise residents that if your fence was damaged due to the fire itself, please contact your insurance company.
