Residents of Breton and the surrounding area experienced some high temperatures on Wednesday, May 3.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, the Breton area reached a temperature of 29.5 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, May 3, beating the old record of 27.1 degrees Celsius set in 2016.
Records in this area have been kept since 1939.
