Officials with Environment and Climate Change Canada say more record low temperatures have unofficially been set throughout Alberta this week, including for the Breton area.
Meteorologists say the Breton area set a new record low for December 22 of – 39.4 degrees Celsius, beating the old record of – 32.2 degrees set in 1967.
Records in this area have been kept since 1939.
