November is Family Violence Prevention Month. The Town of Stony Plain, City of Spruce Grove, and Parkland County have partnered with several local agencies to promote awareness through the “Shine a L!ght” campaign.
During the month of November, display a purple light to show your support for victims of domestic abuse. Lightbulbs will be available at information booths at the following locations:
- Spruce Grove Library
- TriLeisure Centre
- Border Paving Athletic Centre
- Alberta Parenting for the Future Association
- Stony Plain Library
- Stony Plain Provincial Courthouse
- Parkland County Library
- Parkland Wellness Center
- Paul Band Health Center
Share your efforts on social media using the hashtags #GoPurpleAB and #WhereToTurn.
