The Town of Drayton Valley is forging new partnerships with Pembina Pipelines.
On May 10, 2022, the Town announced they had sold the naming rights to the Omni II arena to Pembina Pipelines. The arena is now known as the Pembina Pipeline Arena. The sponsorship agreement is for 10 years, and the Pembina Pipeline Arena name will be prominently featured in the lobby.
The Pembina Pipeline Arena is one of the sections of the Drayton Valley Omniplex, and has been host to banquets, concerts, and trade shows.
In addition, Pembina Pipelines has sold their old building to the Town at a reduced rate. The Town will be converting the building into their new Public Works shop. The old Public Works shop will become the site for the Town’s new Shelter Pods.
