Wintery weather is ahead for Drayton Valley and Brazeau County.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the region.
Environment Canada warns that there will be on and off periods of snow, rain, and freezing rain throughout Nov. 14.
They then predict that the snow will begin in earnest on the morning of Nov. 15, and last through to the morning of Nov. 16. We will get between 10 and 15 centimetres by the time the snow finishes.
Then on Nov. 16, the high winds will blow in from the northwest, leading to blowing and drifting snow, before tapering off on the evening of Nov. 16.
