November 4
0500 – Drayton Valley – Members were involved in an altercation with known male. Male charged with Assaulting police officer. Member suffered a broken hand as a result of altercation. Male further charged with 2 counts of mischief for damage to cells
12:50 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant called to report known female is on the floor in the bathroom of the library. Members attended and arrested female for breach of peace, possession of controlled substance. Female held until sober.
2:06 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant called to report ongoing issue between students. Member spoke with complainant and will follow up with school. Matter is still under investigation.
2:53 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting male is bending over and not looking well in a vehicle. Members attended and spoke with male who advised they were not feeling well. Males spouse was attending.
4:03 pm – Drayton Valley – 55 Avenue – Complainant attended the detachment to drop off a PAL which had been found in the parking lot of the Blackcat Liquor store. Members able to locate owner and returned to them.
4:08 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant calling to report cattle in the middle of the road on RR 70. Member contacted the owner of the cattle who was returning home and would take care of the issue.
5:13 pm – Drayton Valley – 44 Street – Complainant reporting an erratic driver in an orange jeep. Vehicle is tailgating other vehicles. Members attended area and patrolled, however vehicle not located.
8:20 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member attended the Sky Lounge to obtain witness statements on another matter. Statements resulted in several new charges to the male who assaulted a police officer earlier that day.
8:33 pm – Brazeau County – RR 80 – Complainant reporting suspicious activity. A red ford truck with a Coleman camper trailer is parked at an approach, male driver is asleep behind the wheel. Members attended, camper trailer stolen. No occupants upon arrival. Members observed a clear bag containing white powdery substance. 2 individuals arrested for possession of stolen property. Search warrant for vehicle produced Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, GHB.
8:57 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle. Newer marron Ford F350 is parked behind the complainant’s residence. Member contacted the owner of the vehicle who advised they did not realize where he had parked and moved vehicle.
9:44 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Complainant reporting a 16 year old driving a Black Chevrolet Truck without a license at the Omniplex parking lot. Other vehicles are stunting. Members attended, no issues. 16 year old spoken to.
November 5
12:11 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting a structure fire at a mobile home. Members attended, no fire.
12:13 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 39 – Complainant reporting an intoxicated driver in a Red 2000 Dodge Ram with work topper. Vehicle is crossing over the lines and swerving all over the road. Members patrolled the area with negative results.
9:42am – Drayton Valley – Mackenzie Ave – Complainant reported that she had previously let an employee, go from her employment. Since then the employee has continued to send text messages and emails to other employees and contracts to try to tell her side of the story or gain employment. I spoke to SOC who stated that since she was told to stop, she has stopped contacting anyone. SOC has stated that she will only contact either the labour board or the accountant for any further contact. NFAR. CH.
11:23am – Brazeau County – Complainant called RCMP to request of obtaining belongings. No address provided. Complainant provided the detachment number as a call back. CPIC inquiry last number on DL belonging to someone else Complainant called back and requested assistance from Police stating the SOC tried to lock him in the residence the other day. Complainant only wanted to get his belongings back. Member attended the residence with the complainant to keep the peace. Complainant was able to remove all his belongings. CH.
12:00pm – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Report from complainant that a 2000 GMC Sierra was seen driving recklessly and doing donuts out of the gravel parking lot on the west side of Holy Trinity academy and later speeding out of the park area at approx.. 58 kmph on park radar. Other witness states he saw this going on, and it is a constant problem in the area. Both witnesses are willing to provide statements regarding the driving behavior. Member attended the area and spoke with a male who identified himself as the driver and said he was driving in the area. Member informed him of concerned people around here that are saying he is driving unsafely. SUI
1:49pm – Drayton Valley – Report from complainant that he was scammed out of $1000.00, he received a phone call advising that the person was from Scotia Bank Security. The male asked the complainant to buy some pre-paid credit cards and then provide the numbers. SUI
2:08 – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Report that a rock came off a big truck and hit the complainants windshield causing a crack.
3:43pm – Drayton Valley – 43 street – Report for damage of vehicle belonging to complainant, a witness told her that a blond male with dreads, only one in Frank Maddock got out of an unknown vehicle that was parked by hers, and walked over to her car and smashed her passenger side window. SUI
4:47 PM – Drayton Valley – 51 Street – Complainant reporting an intoxicated female is crying by cornerstone Dental. Female is talking incoherently. Members attended and located known female being attended by EMS
9:30 PM – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting female from previous incident was in their apartment in the bathroom. Would like them removed. Members attended, known female came with members who provided a courtesy ride.
November 6
1:27 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant attended the detachment to provide a statement regarding ex breaching conditions.
2:34 pm – Parkland County – Request to conduct a COVID check on individual who recently came back from out of Country. Individual was isolating on property.
3:53 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – Complainant reporting male is in their garage without permission. Members attended, male had left prior to arrival.
3:59 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting they found drugs in the women’s bathroom. Member attended and seized drugs.
4:07 pm – Drayton Valley – 55 Street – Request to assist EMS with a female. Female transported to hospital.
4:16 pm – Drayton Valley – 911 open line received. Member attended location and confirmed no one was in distress.
4:50 pm – Tomahawk – Alarm received. Member attended residence and verified a false alarm.
5:57 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Complainant reporting known male is at their residence. Male arrested on outstanding warrants. During search of male, member found a quantity of methamphetamine.
6:05 pm – Drayton Valley – 56 Street – Complainant reporting an individual driving a car outside with a large metal rod on it. Tried to do a u-turn but hit the road sign. Vehicle left. Vehicle is a Black Toyota Rav 4
7:37 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for no registration.
8:23 pm – Tomahawk – Complainant requesting a well-being check on mother. Prior to members attending, complainant called back and advised they had spoken to her, she had been sleeping.
10:37 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Street – Complainant reporting a friend is at their house and ex is in the yard yelling and banging on the door. Members attended and spoke with all parties.
November 7
2:35 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting their truck alarm app had notified them that their door had been opened. Members attended and located 2 males. Both attempted to flee. Foot pursuit was initiated and one male was arrested and charged. The other male is still outstanding.
10:34 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on female who had fled the residence on foot. Members made patrols and spoke with several people. Female not located.
11:15 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 624 – Alarm received. Male did not have proper passcode. Member attended and located male at the residence.
2:23 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant requesting removal of female who is high on drugs. Members attended and located known female who left without incident.
2:32 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Complainant reporting daughter does not want to go home. Member attended and spoke with all parties.
8:19 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for no registration.
November 8
8:06 am – Tomahawk – Complainant reporting known male is acting erratically. Members attended and transported male to Edmonton
8:10 am – Brazeau County – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on individual who failed to show up for work. Members attended, individual was sleeping and did not hear the phone or door.
9:22 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant calling to report a tenant is dealing drugs and causing disturbances.
10:25 am – Drayton Valley – 46 Street – Complainant reporting an attempted theft from vehicle. Door latch is broken
11:36 am – Drayton Valley – 58 Avenue – Complainant reporting a damaged hand sanitizer dispenser at HW Pickup. Member attended a meeting with all parties involved. School is dealing with the matter.
12:00 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Street – Complainant reporting individual travelling the wrong way on the one way street. Members patrolled the area, vehicle not located.
2:27 pm – Tomahawk – Complainant advised they were travelling on the Tomahawk Highway when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
3:08 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant requesting patrols for traffic. People speeding past Drayton Valley Christian School.
5:48 pm – Drayton Valley – Drayton Valley Hospital reporting known female has been hanging around the hospital after being treated. Female left when requested to
6:16 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting they were travelling on Hwy 22 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
6:49 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 621 – Complainant reporting they were driving on the highway when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
8:26 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 759 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for speeding.
9:10 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting a missing female. Have not heard from them in a while. Member attended known location and located female who was fine.
11:17 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Violation ticket issued.
11:20 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting they were called a bad name by brother. Members attended and spoke with all parties.
11:28 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting theft of keys. Members attended, keys had been left at residence
November 9
2:22 am – Drayton Valley – 63 Street – Complainant reporting an attempted theft of motor vehicle. Male wearing all black, bandana covering the face and carrying a backpack broke the window. Security scared the suspect off. Patrols made, male not located.
8:22 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting they found an abandoned bike inside the bank vestibule locked to one of the interior doors. Member attended and cut the bike free and left the lock and bike outside the bank out of the way.
8:27 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant calling to report there was a vehicle left in the parking lot overnight. Vehicle was registered to male and members were aware.
8:28 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop after viewing an individual driving while on their cell phone. Driver issued a violation ticket.
9:05 am – Drayton Valley – 46 Street – Member on patrol observed a vehicle go through a stop sign. Driver issued a violation ticket.
9:10 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting an unwanted male and female. Members attended and located known male and female. Both were advised they needed to vacate the premises. Both left without issue.
10:17 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting known female was yelling and screaming at people inside the bank. Female said they owed her money. Female left prior to member’s arrival, patrols made, female not located.
11:34 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Members on patrol observed a possible stolen U-Haul truck. Member called the U-Haul rep who advised the vehicle was to be returned on November 3. Vehicle towed.
12:22 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a fraud that occurred in the United States.
1:25 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting partying and littering near residence. Complainant had located a ticket amongst the debris that had been issued by an individual. Member to follow up.
2:29 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant attended the detachment with a warrant for execution. Members attended location and arrested individual. Altercation ensued.
2:50 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop after viewing the individual on their cell phone while driving. Violation ticket issued.
5:29 pm – Tomahawk – Complainant reporting stolen property posted. Members attended and spoke with suspect.
10:46 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for no drivers licence.
11:21 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting a suspicious person at a truck. Male wearing an orange hoodie and black jacket is trying to open the door to a white truck. Patrols conducted in the area, male not located. No damage to truck.
November 10
2:15 am – Drayton Valley – 49 Street – Complainant reporting an attempted theft of vehicle. Truck was broken into, passenger side window broken. Ignition tampered with which set off alarm. Member attended.
