7:13 am – Brazeau County – Complainant called to report they were driving on Township Rd 510 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
7:35 am – Drayton Valley – 53 Street – Complainant called to report their neighbour revving chainsaw and making noise. Member attended and discussed the noise bylaw with the complainant. Noise bylaw runs from 7am to 10 pm.
9:24 am – Drayton Valley – 46 Avenue – Complainant called to report theft of their 2000 Blue Dodge Ram truck overnight. Vehicle has a slip tank in the box.
9:36 am – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting an abandoned vehicle. Damage to front bumper and front tire. Member contacted owner who advised it had been damaged yesterday and they were arranging for a tow.
9:46 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting theft of high p[pressure air line from gas station tire inflation machine.
10:29 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting homeless individuals are living out of a shed on the property. Member attended and located known individual. Further investigation revealed owner of property is allowing them to live there.
11:08 am – Brazeau County – Members conducted a traffic stop with a Silver Jeep Grand Cherokee. Vehicle sped off at a high rate of speed. Members located vehicle abandoned. Vehicle towed. Suspect not located.
11:12 am – Drayton Valley – 56 Avenue – Alarm reported, member attended. Cleaning crew had set it off. Alarm False
11:28 am – Drayton Valley – 47 Street – Complainant reporting suspicious activity. Related to Jeep Grand Cherokee from earlier file. Suspect had parked it in the parking lot then proceeded through the building.
11:45 am – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting a break and enter to lease property. Several items stolen.
12:34 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting intoxicated male harassing people at the gas station. Member attended and located known male. Male left
1:33 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Street – Complainant reporting individual is having financial concerns. Members attended and spoke with individual who admitted they were going through a rough time, however were fine and would reach out if needed.
1:47 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reported a break and enter to lease site. Copper wire and transformers stolen.
3:31 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting an abandoned, gutted vehicle. Silver Dodge ram 2500. Vehicle had been stolen out of Wetaskiwin.
6:54 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting neighbour making rude comments after a dispute. Just wanted advice.
7:18 pm – Parkland County – Tomahawk – Complainant reporting they were receiving threatening text messages from an unknown number. Member attended and spoke with complainant. Matter is still under investigation.
8:33 pm – Brazeau County – Request for a wellbeing check on individual who made concerning comments. Member spoke with individual who was fine.
8:50 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting male lurking around the hospital. Member attended and patrolled the area, male had left prior to arrival.
9:39 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting 2 individuals near the road. Complainant was concerned for their wellbeing. Members attended the area and made patrols. Individuals not located.
10:05 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Complainant reporting numerous vehicles at the Omniplex stunting. Member attended and located a large gathering of vehicles, none were driving erratically. Vehicles dispersed shortly after
10:34 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for driving while suspended.
October 22
9:01 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report of a person biking with a backpack that the complainant believed was stolen. Unable to determine if the backpack was stolen or legally obtained.
10:51 am – Drayton Valley – 46 Avenue – Suspicious person in the back alley stated they were looking to buy a vehicle. Members patrolled the area, but could not locate the person.
1:06 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Police were called to assist with a landlord/tenant dispute over an eviction. Police advised the caller to go through appropriate channels for the eviction and hire a bailiff.
2:27 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Collision between a vehicle and a deer.
2:58 pm – Brazeau County – Twp 504 – Fence damaged, unknown suspects.
4:07 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Street – Report of an altercation between two people. Members attended, spoke with all parties, deemed to be a consensual fight, no charges.
6:10 pm – Brazeau County – RR 91 – Request for a welfare check. Police attended, no concerns.
11:55 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complaint of two people breaching conditions. Police attended but could not locate the offending parties.
October 23
2:46 am – Drayton Valley – Pleasantview Trailer Park – Report of a stolen black 2002 Ford F350 that just occurred. Patrols made in the area and request sent to neighbouring detachments to attempt to locate.
3:21 am – Drayton Valley – 48 Street – Attempted theft of truck, suspect was interrupted while trying to punch the ignition and took off on foot to a nearby vehicle and fled.
5:54 am – Drayton Valley – 62 Street – Report of a residential alarm. The alarm was cancelled prior to members arriving.
11:25 am – Drayton Valley – Hwy 22 – Complaint of a person hitchhiking and running in to traffic. When members arrived the person was gone.
11:54 am – Drayton Valley – 43 Avenue – Residential alarm, police attended, property rep was home trying to call the alarm company.
12:53 pm – Drayton Valley – 49 Avenue – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop after observing vehicle failing to stop. Driver issued a violation ticket
4:14 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Police were called to assist with Drayton Valley Enforcement Services.
6:06 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Police were called to assist with Emergency Medical Services.
8:29 pm – Drayton Valley – Power Centre Blvd – Request for a wellbeing check on a youth seen walking towards Walmart. Police attended the area but did not locate the youth.
9:07 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Hit and run collision. A white & red truck was rammed repeatedly by a silver Ford ¾ or 1 tonne truck and fled the scene.
11:30 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on individual. Members attended and spoke with all parties.
October 24
12:56 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol observed a vehicle which was known to be stolen. Member attempted to conduct a traffic stop. Vehicle stopped, then fled shortly after.
1:21 am – Brazeau County – Member observed a vehicle approaching at a high rate of speed. Member followed, however vehicle took off.
5:08 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting vehicle on fire. Members attended. Matter is still under investigation.
11:33 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting neighbour playing music loudly. Members attended and spoke with neighbour who turned down the music.
12:28 pm – Drayton Valley – 43 Street – Complainant reporting daughter had been bullied by older girls. Matter is under investigation.
October 25
1:37 am – Drayton Valley – 49 Avenue – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver was a GDL driver who provided a breath test which resulted in a caution. GDL drivers are not allowed to consume any alcohol and drive. Vehicle towed and driver suspended from driving. Violation tickets for no insurance issued.
2:31 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting an intoxicated male. Members attended and located male.
6:50 am – Drayton Valley – Complaint received of a break and enter. Members attended, one male arrested.
11:15 AM – Drayton Valley – 54 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for no registration.
11:26 am – Lodgepole – Complainant reporting a break and enter to their truck approximately 4 days ago. Several items stolen.
11:54 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a cab driver falling asleep while driving.
12:20 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting they were parked at the health center, when they returned they noted damage to their 2013 Grey Kia Optima.
12:41 pm – Drayton Valley – 46 Street – 911 abandoned call. Members attended, medical emergency, EMS called to assist.
1:26 pm – Drayton Valley – 62 Street – Complainant reporting an unwanted male laying on the cement blocks behind the store. Members attended and located male who was subsequently arrested on outstanding warrants.
3:27 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant called 911 to request members assistance as they gather their belongings. Members attended, female arrested for mischief and held until sober.
7:13 pm – Brazeau County – Member on patrol located a vehicle that had fled several times on officers. Known male arrested on outstanding warrants and issued several violation tickets for flight, failing to stop
8:12 pm – Drayton Valley – 64 Street – Complainant reporting suspicious activity. They were working in the shop when a male walked in looking for someone. Unknown how they got in. Male was very loud and waving arms around.
9:19 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on friend. Members attended, friend had left.
October 26
4:39 am – Drayton Valley – 55 Street – Complainant reporting theft of vehicle. Vehicle is a dark green 2000 Dodge Ram with big tires and tinted windows.
8:16 am – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting suspicious activity. Green older Chevy truck is on property. Member attended, vehicle located, vehicle was stuck in the mud looking for a hunting spot.
10:40 am – Drayton Valley – 62 Street – 911 hang-up. Members met with caller who was having phone issues. Caller was safe, getting phone repaired.
11:28 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting squatters in condemned building at centre court trailer park. Members attended and cleared both units. No persons located.
11:56 am – Parkland County – Complainant reporting missing bull. Bull has a brand on left ribs. Bull went missing a few months ago.
1:39 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Complainant reporting they saw their vehicle which they reported stolen on 52 Avenue – Investigation revealed that vehicle had not been stolen.
3:00 pm – Drayton Valley – 54 Street – Complainant reporting a Trialithic meter was stolen from vehicle along with other miscellaneous tools.
3:39 pm – HW Pickup School – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on student. Members attended and spoke with all parties.
4:37 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting license plate stolen off truck while working in Drayton Valley.
5:37 pm – Drayton Valley – 56 Street – Complainant reporting male behind residence with copper wire in a cart style bike trailer. Member attended, however male had left prior to arrival.
9:56 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting male with dark hair and wearing a grey hoodie and jeans is trying to break into a vehicle with a crowbar. Members attended and instructed male to drop crowbar. Members identified male who advised he had locked himself out of his truck. All queries came back and confirmed ownership.
10:09 pm – Drayton Valley – 46 Avenue – audible alarm at Evergreen School. Members attended, no alarm heard, foot patrols around perimeter conducted. Cleaning staff in school had accidentally set off alarm.
October 27
2:10 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a suspicious male near the Esso and Stetsons. Male ha dark hair and is wearing a dark coat with white stripe on the back.
2:50 am – Drayton Valley – 56 Street – Member attended location to conduct a curfew check on known prolific offender. Male not home. Charges to be laid for breaching conditions.
11:23 AM – Brazeau County – Complainant called to request member assistance while they gathered their belongings.
11:42 am – Drayton Valley – 55A Street – Complainant reporting a fight at the Bottle Depot. Members spoke with both parties. One party had been fired and got mad, a physical fight ensued. Neither party wished charges. Trespass warning issued.
11:56 am – Drayton Valley – 55 Street – Complainant calling from Ontario requesting a wellbeing check on son. Member contacted workplace and was advised he was at work.
2:00 pm – Drayton Valley – Industrial road – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for failing to stop at red light.
3:39 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Street – Complainant reporting theft from mail boxes. Doors are wide open. Member attended and contacted Canada Post who attended and locked the mailbox. Doesn’t appear that anything was taken, mailbox, not locked properly.
6:22 pm – Drayton Valley – 44 Street – Complainant called to report a known female is laying in their flower bed. Member attended and located female. Female had no place to go for the night. Member provided a courtesy ride to a place where female was able to find a place to stay.
6:51 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a truck leaking possible dangerous goods. Vehicle not carrying dangerous goods.
8:40 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting neighbour is calling for help. Members attended and spoke with individuals who advised everything was fine. No indication of anything wrong.
