September 2
12:48 am – Drayton Valley – 41 Avenue – Report of an intoxicated person yelling on the street. Police attended and made patrols, the person was not located.
2:20 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Suspicious person looking in vehicles in a parking lot and was chased away by the complainant. Members made patrols, nobody was found.
7:37 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 753 – Collision between a vehicle and a deer.
9:08 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Collision between a vehicle and a deer.
10:11 am – Brazeau County – Twp 480 – Request for a wellbeing check on someone sleeping in a field. Members attended, person was fine and provided a ride to town.
1:41 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – 2 vehicle collision, no injuries.
2:04 pm – Drayton Valley – Beckett Road – Report of a possible break and enter in progress. Police attended, the “suspect” lived at that residence.
2:56 pm – Drayton Valley – 58 Avenue – Complaint of vehicles being gone through overnight, requesting additional patrols.
7:08 pm – Drayton Valley – Police were requested to do a wellbeing check. Police located the person, no issues.
8:12 pm – Brazeau County – Twp 492 – Call of illegal dumping of garbage.
8:42 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report of theft from a vehicle in progress. Police attended, they own the vehicle which had broken down.
September 3
12:57 am – Drayton Valley – 47 Street – Unknown person laying at the front door of a residence. Police attended and provided the person a ride home.
3:26 am – Brazeau County – Unknown person seen via cameras on a lease site. Nobody was located and nothing appeared to be missing or damaged.
6:02 am – Drayton Valley – Police were called to assist EMS.
7:15 am – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – Black 2005 Ford F350, Alberta license plate CJB-0759, with a headache rack stolen overnight.
8:22 am – Drayton valley – 54 Street – Found break-in tools, member attended and seized the items.
10:15 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant called and requested a member attend to conduct a welfare check on dogs. Members determined no issues, dogs were in good health.
12:04 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Shoplifting, police attended and arrested the suspect, released for court.
12:11 pm – Brazeau county – Complainant reporting someone stole a solar panel, better and cable from a lease site. Lock on the gate had been cut.
3:21 pm – Drayton Valley – complainant reporting an unwanted person. Male who had been removed earlier has returned. Members attended, arrangements were made for individual to obtain belongings.
3:34 pm – Drayton Valley – 48A Avenue – Found bike left laying against a fence, unknown if it was stolen, returned to the detachment.
8:57 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report of a possible impaired driver. Complainant reports a male in a silver Chevrolet Pickup with blankets in the box is swerving between lanes. Police attended and made patrols for the vehicle, but it was not located.
9:53 pm – Drayton Valley – 54 Street – Report of a vehicle that may have been involved in a collision. Vehicle had radiator damage and the driver was just trying to limp it to their destination. Driver had hit a deer.
September 4
5:36 am – Brazeau County – Twp 494 – Report of an abandoned vehicle. Black Chevrolet truck is parked on the side of the road. Police located and towed the vehicle which did not appear stolen, but had 3 different plates attached, matter under investigation.
7:46 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Complainant reporting a traffic hazard. Fracking rig came off a lease road spitting mud and stones onto the highway. No damage to vehicle.
8:38 am – Drayton Valley – 41 Avenue – Static 911 call from a business, police attended, ongoing issue, no emergency.
3:23 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting dispute between neighbours. Complainant stated neighbour swerved towards them on the road. Member spoke with individual who had been in a tractor for the past two days.
3:47 pm – Brazeau County – Twp 514 – Erratic speeding vehicle. Complainant reporting a driver in a white Dodge truck is speeding. Vehicle not located.
5:12 pm – Drayton Valley – Hwy 620 – 2 vehicle collision, no injuries.
6:03 pm – Drayton Valley – Skate Park – Report of bullying at the skate park. People are taking their belongings. Members attended and the caller was no longer there. Matter under investigation.
6:20 am – Drayton valley – 48 Street – Complainant is reporting individual is sitting outside of their residence and appears intoxicated. Complainant concerned they will attempt to drive. Members attended and spoke with individual who advised they were having a dispute with friend.
6:35 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting a dispute. Complainant is hunting on public land and farmer confronted them accusing them of shooting their cattle. Members spoke with complainant.
6:52 pm – Drayton Valley – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a orange Ford Edge with burn marks on the side a female driver and teddy bears in the back seat is driving around. Members patrolled the area, vehicle not located.
7:11 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Request to assist Fire Department with fire in apartment. Members attended, not suspicious, Occupant was making breakfast and fell asleep. No fire
8:20 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting damag4e to property at campground. BBQ and some picnic tables damaged.
8:53 pm – Drayton Valley – 41 Avenue – Commercial alarm going off. Ongoing issue. No emergency.
9:44 pm – Lodgepole – complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle. Black Alero with 2 occupants. Vehicle is parked near where they are camping.
10:33 pm – Drayton Valley – 56 Street – Complainant reporting a breach of court order. Member attended and spoke with complainant.
11:53 pm – Yellowhead County – Hwy 753 – Complainant reporting a male attempted to flag them down. Members attended location and located a vehicle abandoned. Vehicle towed, registered owner of vehicle advised. Driver of vehicle had hitch hiked to get help. Driver was located.
September 5
2:30 am – Drayton Valley – 51 Street – Complainant reporting dog barking for past 2 – 3 hours. Member attended, owner not home. Animal control contacted.
5:46 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – 911 false alarm. Ongoing issue. No emergency
9:40 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting an erratic driver in a white GMC Sierra. Driver cut off complainant and was speeding. Members made patrols, vehicle not located.
7:11 pm – Drayton Valley – Complaint received of threats. Members spoke with complainant and provided information on how to obtain a protection order.
7:50 pm – Cynthia – complainant calling to report known male is causing a disturbance and would like them removed. Members attended, male had left prior to arrival.
9:00 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Members conducted curfew check which resulted in breach charged being laid.
9:21 pm – Brazeau County – Elk River Road – Complainant reporting an abandoned vehicle. Black dodge Truck with major front end damage. Vehicle is cleaned out. Vehicle not stolen.
September 6
8:25 am – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Complainant reporting a EMS attendant was rude to them and being authoritative. Complainant would not let EMS into residence. Complainant taken to hospital by personal vehicle.
10:34 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 624 – Complainant reporting breach of court order. Member spoke with complainant and advised that court order is not police enforceable. Members attended and spoke with all parties involved. Mutual agreement came to.
10:51 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Complainant reporting cattle on the highway. Members attended and patrolled area, no cattle observed on highway.
3:39 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – complainant reporting a disturbance. Two males in vehicles were yelling at each other. Members attended, male arrested for mischief and uttering threats.
4:42 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Complaint reporting a fight between a male and female. Members attended and located known female. Members advised female to move along.
5:23 pm – Drayton Valley – 43 Avenue – Complainant reporting they found a Polaris side by side behind residence. Members attended, not reported stolen.
8:54 pm – Drayton valley – Industrial Road – Request to assist EMS. Members attended as individual known to have violent tendencies.
11:45 pm – Drayton Valley – Madsen Avenue – Complainant calling to report people going through vehicles. Individuals are pulling a wagon. Members attended and patrolled the area, not located.
September 7
6:55 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting someone broke into the gate and stole a side by side. Members attended. Suspects had cut the gate to gain access. Side by side recovered shortly after. Matter is still under investigation
7:47 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – 911 open line, ongoing issue. False alarm.
12:27 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant calling detachment behaving erratically. Ongoing
12:48 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle near the cemetery. White Dodge Truck. Members attended and located vehicle. Driver spoken to and they advised they were surveying property for demolition.
1:35 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Complainant calling to report all their political signs had been taken down and dropped at the Omniplex.
2:36 pm – Drayton Valley – 46 Street – Complainant reporting an assault which occurred a month ago. Matter is still under investigation.
4:06 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Member on patrol located a suspect vehicle which had been known to be involved in a break and enter as well as wanted on outstanding warrants. Male observed and advised they were under arrest. Male ran from police and a foot chase ensued. Male arrested and charged held for JIR hearing. Several traffic violation tickets issued.
4:35 pm – Drayton Valley – 49 Street – Complainant calling to report individual who is wanted on traffic warrant.
6:10 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting a youth is on the 3rd floor and banging on doors. Male youth is acting erratically. Members attended and located male who was clearly intoxicated. Members escorted male back home
7:50 pm – Drayton Valley – 58 Avenue – Complainant reporting squatters at empty lot. People were going in and out of the semi trucks that were parked in the lot. Members attended, no one observed in or around the area.
8:22 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Commercial alarm received. Members attended, employee accidentally set off alarm.
9:33 pm – Drayton Valley – 63 Street – Complainant reporting missing male. Last heard from at the UFA in Drayton Valley. Male contacted, he was fine, just delayed
September 8
12:05 pm – Tomahawk – Complainant reporting someone broke into their residence and was currently in their kitchen. Members attended and cleared the residence. No sign of break and enter.
11:05 am – Brazeau County – Complainant calling concerned about wellbeing of individual. Members contacted individual who was fine.
1:20 pm – Drayton Valley – 49 Avenue – Complainant reporting numerous homeless individuals in the woods behind. Members and Town CPO attended and made foot patrols, one person located, but no evidence of shelters.
2:09 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Audible alarm heard at residence. Complainant observed several youth in the area. Members attended and spoke with youth occupants of the residence who advised that they had set the alarm off intentionally to scare the others away
3:38 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant calling to report individuals had cut a hole in their fence and set up a shelter in the woods next to their shop. Member attended and took down shelter and set aside any property that may have been stolen.
8:30 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 620 – Complainant calling to report a white GMC Sierra is swerving on the highway, when they tried to pass, the vehicle swerved towards their vehicle. Members contacted the registered owner of the vehicle who advised they were on their way home and had worked all night so was tired.
9:16 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on individual. Member spoke with individual.
9:42 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting suspicious activity. Garage door randomly opened and closed as well as their neighbours. Suspect vehicle is a yellow Camaro or Challenger which had been driving by slowly at the time. Nothing taken from either garage. Members patrolled the area, vehicle not located.
