Drayton Valley RCMP are seeking the public’s help in investigating a suspicious death.
On Aug. 30, shortly after 8:30 p.m., Drayton RCMP responded to a call for assistance from the Drayton Hospital.
According to RCMP, shortly after 8 p.m., a male was dropped off outside the hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.
The victim was able to share some information prior to succumbing to his injuries in hospital.
Surveillance obtained by police shows the victim being dropped off in the parking lot of the hospital and that vehicle immediately departing without providing any information.
The victim has been identified as 40 year old Jonathan James Paul. Paul is from Calgary, and his family has been notified.
Drayton RCMP are now looking Paul’s vehicle: a 2005 Nissan Armada SUV, maroon in colour, with four doors and Alberta license plate CKC6763.
Drayton Valley RCMP are seeking public assistance in this suspicious death investigation. The public is asked to contact Drayton RCMP if they can provide:
• the location of Paul’s vehicle,
• any information in relation to this incident,
• identifying those responsible, or who dropped Paul off at the hospital,
• review and provide any dash camera footage or surveillance footage that may have the victim’s vehicle in your recordings
• witnessed or was involved in this incident.
