July 8
9:30 AM –Drayton Valley – 43 Street – Complainant reporting suspicious activity in the field. Dark Dodge Truck with two males loading items into the truck. Members patrolled the area, vehicle and males not location, however a male was located sleeping in a tent. Male advised to move on by Bylaw.
10:25 am – Violet Grove – Complainant called to request a member attend to keep the peace while they got some documents. Member attended and assisted.
11:07 am – Drayton Valley – 49 Street – Alarm company calling in a alarm. Member attended and spoke with home owner who advised they were cleaning the panel and set off the alarm
12:43 pm – Drayton Valley – 41 Avenue – Complainant reporting the Telus tower near the hospital had been broken into and cable moved to outside the fence. Member attended and seized some stray items for further investigation.
1:04 pm – Brazeau County – SOS received from individual who advised their spouse was in medical distress. EMS attended.
2:22 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting they were in a parking lot when a trailer hit the passenger side of their vehicle.
2:38 pm – Drayton Valley – 58 Avenue – Complainant reporting theft of light bar and tools from 2 nights ago. Members attended
4:32 pm – Brazeau county – Complainant reporting a abandoned vehicle. Orange Ram pickup truck is stuck in the mud and heavily damaged. Member contacted the Registered owner who was aware. They had gone out looking for a camp site and got stuck.
4:55 pm – Brazeau County – Members were called to a possible drowning that had taken place off the sand bars under the Bridge on the North Saskatchewan River. Fire Department, fish and Wildlife, RCMP attended and patrolled the water. Individual has not yet been located.
10:20 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Street – Complainant reporting an assault. Information received from third party. Member located suspect and arrested and charged.
11:53 pm – Brazeau county – Rr 64 – Complainant calling to report they had an issue with a new phone and now believe that ex is hacking their account making it seem like they are breaching their conditions of no contact. Member provided complainant with information on what they can do.
July 9
1:15 am – Drayton Valley – 56 Avenue – Complainant reporting suspicious male has thrown some items into the trees, then came back to get more things. Members attended and located male who said they were dropping some things off at their bike.
1:18 pm – Drayton Valley – Madsen Avenue – Complainant reporting patient has left the facility. Member advised we could not force the person to return if they left on their own.
10:33 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a homeless camp behind their residence. Member attended, camp had been reported earlier and had been abandoned.
10:42 am – Brazeau county – Alarm company reporting a residential alarm. Members attended, building was secure. No evidence of break and enter
11:01 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting an abandoned Toyota Camry located west of the North Saskatchewan Bridge. Member contacted the Registered Owner who advised a charity was supposed to pick it up. Vehicle towed
11:21 am – Drayton Valley – 44 Street – Complainant advised that they had left the residence and closed everything up, when they returned all their doors were open. Member attended and cleared the residence. Several items missing.
1:27 PM – Drayton Valley – 48 Avenue – Complainant reporting a dog in a vehicle for the past 20 minutes. Member attended location and located the vehicle. Vehicle owner admitted that dog had been in vehicle for past 20 minutes. Owner warned
2:11 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant called to report their son had attempted to run away while at the gas station. Son has unpredictable behaviour. Members attended. All parties were calm.
2:18 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant attended detachment to report collision with gate on personal property
2:57 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a male had attended location for a drug test, however left in a Dodge. Members made patrols, male and vehicle not located.
4:14 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Complainant reporting a transport truck is passing vehicles at a high rate of speed. Member patrolled the area, vehicle not located.
5:37 pm – Rocky Rapids – Alarm reported at residence. Members attended, alarm was false
8:11 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting threats were received from known male. Members patrolled the area, male not located.
9:03 pm – Drayton Valley – 55 Avenue – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued violation ticket for speeding.
9:48 pm – Rocky Rapids – Complainant reporting an abandoned possibly stolen trailer parked at the hall for approximately one month. Member attended. Registered owner called and message left. Trailer had not been reported stolen.
10:11 pm – Brazeau county – RR 75 – Complainant reporting the chain link fence between him and landfill has been cut. A white ford 4 door pickup with a red tidy tank was observed in the area.
July 10
2:19 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Member on patrol observed 2 females fighting. Members pulled the two apart, fight as a result of a long term beef. Both parties had been kicked out of the bar. Parties were separated and advised to go home.
4:59 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant called to report they found a lunch bag containing drug paraphernalia. Member attended later on, lunch bag not located.,
6:12 am – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant advised they were driving on the highway when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
7:23 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 624 – Complainant reporting a possible intoxicated driver in a silver Chevrolet pick up truck. Vehicle is driving into oncoming traffic and swerving. Member patrolled the area, vehicle not located.
12:05 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for using their cellphone while driving.
2:20 pm – Brazeau county – RR 71 – Complainant reporting male at campground is causing a disturbance. Members attended and spoke with all parties.
4:23 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting issue with son. Previously reported 2 other times.
5:10 pm – Drayton Valley – 48 Street – Complainant reporting their vehicle taken without their permission. Son was to use the vehicle to go to work, however never returned. Same issue happened a month ago. Vehicle is a silver Chevrolet Silverado with a lift kit.
5:15 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Complainant reporting a possible dog in distress. Dark Red Dodge Crew Cab has a small dog in it barking. Member attended location, dog panting, friend attended and took care of dog.
8:10 pm – Brazeau County – RR 80 – Complainant reporting possible shots fired. Member spoke with complainant, complainant thought it might be target practise. Member patrolled the area, nothing heard.
8:34 pm – Drayton Valley – 54 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued violation ticket for speeding
9:41 pm – Drayton Valley – Skate Park – Complainant advised youth at skate park has been telling people they were kicked out of residence. Member attended and learned that youth had been picked up by parent.
July 11
12:48 am – Drayton Valley – 48 Street – Complainant reporting suspicious activity. Complainant let dogs out and heard someone at their gate. Member patrolled the area with negative results.
8:36 am – Drayton Valley – 48 Street – Complainant reporting their son missing. Son has taken their vehicle. Son located with vehicle.
11:56 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Complainant reporting a Red Ford Edge is driving on the wrong side of the road. Member attended location and made patrols, vehicle not located.
1:13 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver charged with using an unauthorized licence plate.
5:31 pm – Drayton Valley – 911 hangup received. On call back, no emergency.
5:39 pm – Drayton Valley – 55 Avenue – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver charged with driving without licence and no seatbelt.
5:50 pm – Brazeau county – hwy 22 – Complainant reporting an abandoned RV trailer on side of highway. RV had broken down.
July 12
12:24 am – Drayton Valley – 45 Street – Complainant reporting several people are going in-between vehicle with flashlights. Members attended, individuals had left.
2:38 am – Tomahawk – Complainant reporting theft of farm equipment. Suspect is driving a red truck. Members patrolled the area and located the truck which fled on members when traffic stop initiated. Equipment recovered later. Possible suspects.
8:47 am – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant calling to report ex employers trucks need to be inspected as they had concerns they would not pass
11:04 am – Brazeau county – Complainant calling to report theft and damage at a lease site. Copper wire stolen.
11:59 am – Brazeau county – Complainant reporting theft of wire from lease site. Occurred at three different sites in the area
12:00 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting theft of Grey Schwinn shuffle scooter from yard.
12:49 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Sreet – Complainant reporting known male is in the store causing problems. Members attended male had already left the store. Male is banned from store.
4:49 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting vandalism. Someone spray painted their licence plate. 2 reports from different individuals called to report same thing.
6:58 pm – Brazeau county – Complainant calling to report they found the missing person on the banks of the river approximately 2.5 km upstream from the bridge.
7:51 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting youth walking with skateboards near local business. Youth are dancing and swinging their arms around. Member attended area, no youth located.
July 13
9:28 am – Brazeau county – Complainant reporting theft of licence plate.
9:46 am – Drayton Valley – 53 Street – Complainant calling to advise that bailiffs were attending to evict tenant from property.
11:35 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant advising that their son ran away from them at WalMart. Member located son who wanted to go to a friends house. Member ensured that son went with family member.
11:42 am – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting break and enter, vandalism and illegal dumping. Member spoke with complainant.
6:28 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting there is a van stopped on the side of the highway, person is trying to wave people down. Member attended and located the vehicle. Tow truck had been called due to mechanical issues.
8:32 pm – Brazeau county – RR 71 – Complainant reporting a single vehicle rollover, minor injuries to driver and passenger. Member attended, no signs of impairment, signs of inexperienced driver on gravel.
July 14
2:43 am – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant called to report their vehicle had been broken into. Member attended location, Employee on site fixing vehicle.
2:54 am – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting they were driving on Hwy 22 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle. Deer needed to be euthanized. Member attended.
3:25 am – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Complainant reporting kids out in front of Omniplex. Member attended and spoke with youth who moved on
9:49 am – Brazeau county – Complainant reporting theft of fuel overnight from lease site. Approximately 200 litres of diesel stolen. Suspects also broke into a shack at the location and stole small food items.
10:05 AM – Drayton Valley – 58 Avenue – Complainant reporting a break and enter to their yard. Suspects mad their way into the yard through a hole that had been cut in the fence earlier. Set of rims and tires stolen.
12:05 pm – Drayton Valley – 46 Avenue – Complainant reporting observing a scruffy looking male going into the bush area. Going on for approximately 20 minutes. Member attended and searched the area, male not located.
12:22 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting a possible intoxicated driver at the Fas Gas. SUV with 3 females all who appeared to be intoxicated. Member attended, vehicle had left prior to arrival, patrols made, vehicle not located.
1:04 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting an abandoned truck and trailer have been sitting in the parking lot for the past 3 days. Registered owner contacted, daughter in law had borrowed the truck. Nothing suspicious, nothing stolen
2:00 pm – Drayton Valley – 67 Street – Complainant reporting an attempted theft of vehicle. Catalytic converter stolen and several other vehicles had ignition punched and door handles damaged.
4:06 pm – Drayton Valley – 49 Avenue – Complainant reporting two individuals are attempting to solicit residences in the area for bottles. Older model Ford SUV with a male and female. Member attended area, persons or vehicle not located.
4:07 pm – Brazeau county – Rr 81 – Complainant reporting a single vehicle rollover. Black truck has rolled and scattered stuff on the road. Member attended, no injuries.
4:54 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting an intoxicated driver in a green Malibu. Trunk open and 3 women in it. Member made patrols for vehicle, not located.
6:19 pm – Brazeau county – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle in the area. Dark Grey Challenger is driving at low speeds. Member attended area, vehicle not located.
8:52 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Street – Complainant calling to report a suspicious female walking through yards. Member attended and located known female who was trying to go home. Courtesy ride given.
10:08 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant called to request a loitering male be removed. Members attended and located male who was advised to return to their hotel room.
July 15
12:44 pm – Drayton Valley – 58 Avenue – Complainant reporting a family dispute. Members attended, parties separated for the night.
