July 1
1:36am – Drayton Valley – 47 avenue – Police dispatched to patrol area around 47th ave, Complainant reportedly saw an individual crawling around near the residence just north of hers in the back alley area. Members attended area and conducted patrols but found no one outside near the property, or any suspicious activity.
2:10am – Drayton Valley – 45 street – Report of an intoxicated disturbance. Complainant’s neighbour’s have the garage door open, three-four males drinking, screaming and hollering. Members attended and advised the men the reason for attending. Males intoxicated and apologized. They agreed to turn it down and no one was fighting.
2:37am – Drayton Valley – 50 street – Complainant reported a suspicious vehicle drove in and drove out of the auction site. Vehicle describe as dark older model around 2000 Chevy truck. Observed a male driver and female passenger. Members made patrol suspect vehicle not located.
9:21am – Drayton Valley – Power Centre – Complainant called in reporting a hot dog in a car, member attended and found to be owner, who had warrants out of PONOKA. Dog taken out safely without breaking anything and handed over to animal control officer. Owner arrested on outstanding warrants.
10:27am – Drayton Valley – 51 avenue – 911 report of a disturbance. Female walking down 51 avenue-hitting windows with a 2-foot pipe. Members were able to locate the SOC. SOC was warned about behaviour. Attempts to contact property owner proved futile, unable to determine if anything was damaged.
11:05am – Drayton Valley – 44 avenue – Complainant reported that two electric scooters were stolen from the Drayton Valley RV Park. No surveillance available. Scooters were locked. Member attended and spoke with the complainant who provided details on the scooters. No further evidence.
11:34am – Drayton Valley – 45 street – Residential panic and duress alarm. Two hits from keypad, as well as fire and medical from keypad. No voice contact on site. Member arrived on scene and spoke to key holder who was having issues with his phone but advised all was fine in the residence.
11:59am – Drayton Valley – 50 street – Complainant called in to report possible sighting of missing male Derek HENNINGSMOEN, Member attended location and established that male was not HENNINGSMOEN.
2:23pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – 911 report of an erratic driver. Vehicle travelling north bound. Complainant reporting that there is a driver who is slowing down, speeding up, almost rear-ended complainant, passing dangerously. Complainant thinks the driver is “on something for sure”. Member patrolled highway 620, spoke to the complainant who stated that he last saw the vehicle headed NB into Drayton Valley. No longer had a visual. Patrols completed near the last seen location, vehicle not locate.
7:03pm – Drayton Valley – 50 avenue – Report of suspicious vehicle in the back work yard at 5717 50th avenue. Complainant, an employee at the work yard, stated that he thinks the truck had been there for approximately 20 minutes and there was no reason for it to be there. Members attended and cleared buildings on the property, no signs of forced entry and people on the property. Attempts to call RO of vehicle failed, message left about impounding vehicle. Vehicle towed and impounded at DV towing.
7:40pm – Drayton Valley – 54 avenue – 911 request to remove intoxicated female. Complainant’s mother is irate, intoxicated, coming into complainant’s room yelling and screaming. Members attended and located intoxicated female. SOC was being difficult and was arrested for breaching the peace. While escorting her out, SOC spat at the complainant. SOC was then arrested for assault. Complainant did not want charges laid. SOC released when sober.
9:17pm – Brazeau County – RgRd 65 – Complainant reporting his Red Dodge Ram 3500 with black DV rental trailer was stolen from his property when he was moving out. Keys were in vehicle, had fuel light on. Truck has distinctive fog lights and few personal items in the vehicle. Members attended area, patrolled RR 65, and found no sign of truck.
11:43pm – Brazeau County – Greenwood Trailer Court – 911 – unknown male having a fire on the grass, fire in uncontained. Complainant advised there is a shed on the prop with lights on; there could be other people in the shed. Member attended and located SOC. Member told them that there was a fire ban. They did not know this and put the fire out. No issues. SOC had outstanding warrants and was arrested.
11:48pm – Drayton Valley – 44 avenue – Complainant reported seeing a suspicious male wearing all black clothing, heavy jacket, with a duffle bag and wearing a ski mask heading SB near 44th avenue and Beckett street with a 15 minute time delay. Members attended and patrolled the area but did not find any male fitting the description.
11:59pm – Drayton Valley – 50 avenue – Complainant reporting harassment/stalking. The SOC told the complainant that her and her family would all be dead. The SOC walked by the house, then drove by, then walked by again. Member called complainant. She reported that there is a male who has threatened her and been harassing her. Complainant told member that she has witnesses that are willing to provide a statement. SUI
July 2
8:31am – Brazeau County – RgRd 71 – Report of an MVC vs deer, no injuries.
9:56am – Drayton Valley – 48 avenue – Report of a stolen license plate from silver 04 Cadillac Escalade, nothing left behind, No suspects, no leads, No CCTV.
10:57am – Parkland County – Hwy 759 – Abandoned 911 call, member attended address confirmed no emergency and that everybody was all right, no concern call was just a mistake.
2:56pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 39 – Complainant called and reported a reckless driver going East on Highway 39 past Highway 759. Complainant said a gravel truck was speeding and passed on a double solid. BOLO sent to Breton.
4:10pm – Drayton Valley – JENSEN came in wanting a wellbeing check made on her recently 18 years old daughter who had left on a camping trip with friends. Daughter was initially camping at Willy west but now has not provided her mom with where she was, mom checked last location by Smoky Lake; AB. Cell phone location has been turned off. Complainant advised that her daughter’s friend said that she had been in touch recently and believes her friend is avoiding her mom. BOYLE RCMP attended on unrelated occurrence, confirm wellbeing of the daughter.
5:46pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant called and reported that her brother had attempted suicide cutting his wrist with a kitchen knife. EMS staged and members made contact with the SOC who was cooperative. SOC taken to hospital by EMS without incident.
6:07pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Single Vehicle collision. RCMP attended and located a trailer in the ditch. Males were were able to pull one of the trailers out while a smaller one was left behind and later picked up by the company. The Driver reported that he was turning and the tire blew off on the smaller trailer. The trailer started to fish tail and ended up in the ditch. No injuries.
11:06pm – Drayton Valley – 50 street – Commercial Alarm at Mr. Mike’s. Employees on site tripped alarm and requests cancel alarm.
July 3
9:10am – Drayton Valley – 50 street – Suspicious person – complainant reports an erratic male yelling, walking towards independent from petlife. Appears 18 yo white male, brown hair, dark green shirt and jeans, and boots. Male is carrying a pop bottle. Looks possibly intoxicated. Members located male. He stated he was at the Drayton Valley hospital the other night. Has a leg infection and is limping. No signs of intoxication. Male said he was going to take money out at bank for a cab back to Evansburg.
10:23am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting that a truck hauling a boat had cut him off going northbound on HWY 22. The driver of the truck then threw a can out the window at complainant’s vehicle. Incorrect LP obtained by complainant. Member searched in town for vehicle, vehicle was not located.
10:42am – Drayton Valley – 50 avenue – Report of an intoxicated male – male walking towards 7-Eleven. Complainant is concerned he will be hit by vehicle. Caucasian male- approx. 17 yrs., dark green shirt, jeans and boots. Male has work boots and vomit on his shirt. Talking to himself. Members attended and located SOC. Members could smell liquor on SOC’s breath. Vomit on his shirt. Members arrested SOC for public intoxication. SOC held and to be released when sober.
10:52am – Brazeau County – Elk River Rd. – Complainant reports an abandoned vehicle. It has been on the Elk River road for 3 weeks. Vehicle is not t blocking traffic. Vehicle is a red jeep grand Cherokee, rear window smashed out of it. Complainant stated that it had also moved position since. Possible worker owns it. RO contacted and stated that it is not stolen- she lent it to a friend.
11:14am – Brazeau County – RgRd 65 – Residential panic alarm. Member phoned the key holder and confirmed that everything was okay – it was. No attendance needed.
12:56pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting that GMC truck had it’s slip tank open and lost 200L of diesel between HWY 22 and HWY 39. Member attended. The diesel had dried up. Several brake checks were conducted to ensure the highway was not slippery.
2:49pm – Brazeau County – RgRd 81 – Complaint called in to report random people had trespassed on his road to go camp on crown land by the river. Member attended and tried to obtain evidence as to whom had trespassed. Another road was legally used and nobody claimed to have used the complainant’s road. Complainant had no evidence to provide as to who was on his property, no licence plate was obtained. Member advised complainant to obtain plate next time while vehicle are trespassing or video or pictures.
10:53pm – Drayton Valley – 47 avenue – Report of damage to property. Complainant advised her, landlord gave her a 24 hour notice yesterday evening to come into the house at 1700 hrs today. Complainant was not home and has now come back to find that all of the locks were changed on the house, and all of complainants stuff has been thrown around the house. Members attended the location and found damage done to the complainant’s items and items strewn about the residence. SUI
July 4
2:12am – Drayton Valley – 52 avenue – Report of a possible intoxicated driver. SOC is yelling and screaming having fun in parking lot. SOC got into a black Dodge truck, leaving just now west from lounge on 52 avenue. Patrols completed in the area, could not locate the vehicle. No disturbances seen on patrols.
5:34 am – Brazeau county – Alarm received from radio tower. Member attended, lock broken off the gate and the door had been broken into. Batteries stolen
12:55 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Commercial alarm received. Member attended, alarm false.
2:41 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a landlord tenant issue. Member attended and advised them that they needed to go through the proper channels in order to evict a person.
4:57 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting a family assault. Members attended and deemed no assault had taken place.
6:32 pm – Brazeau county – RR 80 – Complainant reporting they are being threatened over snap chat. Suspect is threatening to ruin complainants future if they don’t send them $100.
7:25 pm – Drayton Valley – Landlord tenant issue. Tenant is fearful as an male had showed up looking for landlord. Tenant’s things have been gone through and strewn about residence, locks have been changed. Members attended, matter is under investigation.
8:21 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting they cam across a female who had stated their boyfriend had assaulted them. Complainant drove female to the detachment, however female took off. Member patrolled the area, female not located.
8:23 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a possible impaired driver. Members patrolled the area, vehicle not located
9:14 pm – Drayton Valley – 56 Avenue – Request to assist Fire Department with structure fire. Members attended.
July 5
3:08 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant calling to report loud argument in the back alley. Member attended and located individual who stated that another known female had walked by them and started screaming at them. Only a verbal argument and known female had left prior to arrival of member.
8:43 am – Brazeau county – Hwy 620 – Complainant reporting they were eastbound on Hwy 620 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
10:50 am – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant was travelling south on Hwy 22 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
10:52 am – Brazeau county – Hwy 621 – Complainant reporting they found a firearm under the Easyford Bridge. Member attended and seized firearm.
10:54 am – Drayton Valley – 48 Avenue – Complainant reporting a possible break and enter to neighbours residence.
11:32 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting an abandoned vehicle. Grey Chrysler 300 had been left in the parking lot overnight. Member attended, located the registered owner who was not aware they could not park there.
12:01 pm – Brazeau county – Complainant reporting a found duffle bag on access road to lease site. Bag contains telus wire. Member attended and seized bag.
12:31 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 39 – Complainant reporting they were driving on hwy 39 when they were sideswiped.
4:15 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting a dog in a vehicle. Dodge journey parked at the car wash. Member attended and spoke with vehicle driver. No concern for animal.
8:49 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 39 – Complainant reporting a abandoned vehicle left in the merge lane. Member attended, note on window indicated a tow truck had been called and would be attending. Registered owner notified.
12:05 pm – Brazeau county – Complainant stranded on the Elk River Road. Members attended the area and utilized the siren in order to locate complainant. No injuries, tow truck called to assist.
12:13 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant calling to report known male has entered the store and is uttering threats. CPO attended and dealt with the issue.
2:14 PM – Drayton Valley – 54A Avenue – Complainant attended the detachment to report someone had tampered with the locks on a property they are looking after.
3:02 pm – Brazeau county – Complainant reporting a possible impaired driver in a dark grey Dodge Ram. The driver is going very slow. Members were able to determine driver not impaired.
5:09 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting a homeless male is passed out on the ground. Members attended and located known female who was subsequently arrested on outstanding warrants.
7:28 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting an assault. Occurred in the playground. Daughters came home and complained that they were pushed off the swings.
9:19 pm – Brazeau county – RR 70 – Complainant reporting an abandoned vehicle since Sunday. Vehicle is a white Pathfinder with flat tires. Member spoke with the Registered Owner who advised they sold the vehicle 7 years ago.
9:23 pm – Brazeau county – Complainant reporting someone banging on the door at law office. Member attended and spoke with complainant who advised a female with Christmas lights on forehead was banging on the door wanting a lawyer. Member patrolled the area, female not located.
9:32 pm – Drayton Valley – 48 Street – Complainant reporting stunting. Dark coloured pickup truck with Canadian flags is stunting and speeding. Member patrolled the area, vehicle not located.
11:02 pm – Drayton Valley – 63 Street – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on individual who they hear is crying very loudly. Members attended and spoke with individual who was upset as their friend just broke up with them.
July 7
4:02 am – Drayton Valley – 63 Street – Complainant reporting a pickup truck stuck in the ditch. All doors are open. Member attended, vehicle was gone prior to arrival.
11:33 am – Drayton valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a disturbance. Male and female arrived at a bank and were very irate, belligerent and aggressive. Both filmed the staff and premises without authorization. Both had issues with the public health act mandates and were refusing to sign documents or provide legal identification. Members attended and spoke with all parties involved.
11:57 am – Drayton Valley – 50 street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver arrested for breach of conditions.
1:12 pm – Drayton Valley – Wal mart – Complainant reporting a hit and run to their vehicle. A white GMC Canyon backed into their Grey Nissan Murano. Vehicle took off without stopping. Matter is still under investigation.
4:47 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting an assault. Male arrested and charged with assault, uttering threats and assault with weapon and held for a bail hearing.
5:30 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – CPO advised they had detained a male from traffic stop. Member attended to assist. Male suspended driver.
5:39 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a female who is refusing to leave their business. Female was trying to pick up their vehicle and was refusing to leave after their card wa declined. Male attended the business and paid the bill prior to member arrival.
5:57 pm – Drayton Valley – Frank Maddock High School – Complainant reporting an attempted assault. Complainant stated that they were in the parking lot when a group of youth began harassing them. Members attended and spoke with youth and parents about behaviour.
6:04 pm – Drayton Valley – Madsen Avenue – Hospital called to report a male had attended the hospital after being stabbed. Victim was uncooperative and would not provide any information regarding the incident.
6:22 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting their son had ran away from the camp site and wasn’t listening to his parents. Member attended, son had returned and was spoken to.
7:44 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 39 – Sherriff requested assistance with a possible impaired driver. Member attended and spoke with the driver. Not impaired.
8:01 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a male in a mid 90’s GMC truck, dark blue in color has been racing down the back alley.
8:15 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting they are having issues with son. Members attended and spoke with son who was experiencing some issues.
9:05 pm – Drayton Valley – 47A Avenue – Complainant reporting male has threatened to steal their bike.
9:37 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Complainant reporting vehicles stunting. Approximately 6 vehicles are in the parking lot, littering, breaking bottles. Members attended, vehicles had already left.
11:16 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Complainant calling to report a grey newer truck with tinted windows is stunting. Members attended, vehicle gone, members patrolled the area, vehicle not located.
11:24 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting an unwanted female. Would like them removed.
11:24 pm – Brazeau county – RR 85 – Complainant reporting a possible intoxicated driver in a dark coloured Chevrolet Aztek. Vehicle is swerving all over the road. Member patrolled the area, vehicle not located.
July 8
2:42 am – Drayton Valley – complainant calling to report their son ran away from home. Members located son at a friends residence. Parent attended and picked up son
