The Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) and The Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) have released the list of RBC AJHL Community Ambassadors for the 2024/25 season, including a member of the Drayton Valley Thunder.
Community Ambassadors are players who have shown outstanding commitment to their community and have inspired their teammates to give back through volunteerism.
This year’s Ambassadors include:
- Luke Marley of the Drayton Valley Thunder.
- Braden Keeble of the Whitecourt Wolverines.
- Jordan Schanbacher of the Bonnyville Pontiacs.
- Bowden Singleton of the Calgary Canucks.
- AJ Schaff of the Camrose Kodiaks.
- Alex Scheiwiller of the Canmore Eagles.
- Xander Shulte of the Devon Xtreme.
- Aiden Connell of the Drumheller Dragons.
- Ryan Arnold of the Fort McMurray Oil Barons.
- Will Harris of the Grande Prairie Storm.
- Jamie Weller of the Lloydminster Bobcats.
- Hunter Motley of the Olds Grizzlys.
League officials say two of these players will be selected as the recipients of a $1,000.00 scholarship from RBC.

The AJHL and RBC have also partnered for the Community Goals Program, and pledged to donate $2.00 to Food Banks Alberta for every power play goal scored in the 2024/25 AJHL Regular Season. This year, the Community Goals Program has donated $1,056.00.
