The flags at the Drayton Valley Civic Centre were lowered to half-mast this morning, in remembrance of the 751 unmarked graves discovered at a Saskatchewan residential school.
In a statement on the town’s Facebook page, the town says they stand in solidarity with the Cowessess First Nation in Saskatchewan, and First Nation communities across Canada as these heartbreaking histories come to light.
