Brazeau County residents who use the Transfer Station are being advised they should receive new Transfer Station Identification Cards in the mail by the end of July.
Officials say old ID cards technically expire on Aug. 1, however, there will be a three-month grace period in which residents can use either the old or new card.
Residents are being advised to take steps to protect their new ID cards, such as laminating them. There is a $10.00 replacement fee for reprinting damaged, stolen or lost ID cards.
Residents who own rental properties that require more than one card are being advised to fill out and submit an Application for Additional Transfer Station ID Cards.
Brazeau County Public Works is also reminding any residents who may have recently moved or purchased property to update their address with Public Works in order to ensure the ID card gets sent to the proper address.
