Residents of Breton and the surrounding area experienced some high temperatures on Monday, May 1.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, the Town of Breton reached a temperature of 28.4 degrees Celsius on May 1, beating the old record of 25.5 degrees Celsius set in 1998.
Records in this area have been kept since 1939.
