Breton area sets new record low temperature for December 6

Meteorologists with Environment and Climate Change Canada say the Breton area broke a new record low temperature on December 6, 2022.

According to the organization, the Breton area set a new record low temperature of – 36.3 degrees Celsius on December 6, beating the old record of – 34.4 degrees Celsius set in 2013.

Records in this area have been kept since 1939.
