In an attempt to increase durability of County department machinery, Brazeau County council passed a motion last week to approve the replacement of a 8’x16’ foot tandem axle covered trailer and a 48” zero turn commercial mower with equivalent models.
Officials note, the estimated net cost is $17,700 after insurance reimbursement with the funding coming from the equipment replacement reserve. County officials say the trailer is used by several County departments, especially during the Household Hazardous Waste Roundup events.
Officials say a fire in July of 2022 destroyed both pieces of equipment.
