Local Mounties are seeking the public’s help in finding and identifying a third suspect wanted in connection with several reports of recent tire slashings in the community.
Drayton Valley RCMP responded to multiple calls of slashed tires in Drayton Valley. RCMP were quickly able to identify two of the three suspects and arrest one of them as they were caught slashing a tire at a hotel in Drayton Valley.
The investigation is still ongoing and the RCMP are requesting that anyone who was a victim of this event to report the incident to Drayton Valley RCMP.
Drayton Valley RCMP are also asking that local residents review their surveillance footage on Sept. 4, 2022, between the hours of 01:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. for any images of the three suspects.
The suspects are all described as youths, approximately 18-years-old: One male was believed to be wearing jeans, a ball cap, a black hoody and a white shirt; a second male was believed to be wearing ripped blue jeans, a black hoody and a grey and black ball cap; while the third suspect is a female youth wearing a red top.
