- Brazeau Co. near Drayton Valley and Breton
- Co. of Wetaskiwin near Alder Flats and Winfield
- Co. of Wetaskiwin near Pigeon Lake
- Leduc Co. near Calmar and Devon
- Leduc Co. near Warburg Thorsby and Pigeon Lake
- Ponoka Co. near Crestomere
- Ponoka Co. near Rimbey Bluffton and Hoadley
Environment Canada predicts rain, at times heavy, today.
According to Environment Canada, heavy rainfall will fall across portions of central Alberta today and tonight. Total amounts of 40 to 60 mm are likely before the rain tapers off Friday morning.
Environment Canada warns that heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
