8:54 am – Brazeau County – RR 73 – Complainant called police as he was looking to dispose of a firearm and the CFO had told him to contact the RCMP. Member attended and took possession of the firearm for disposal.
10:01 am – Brazeau County – Highway 22 – Vehicle vs deer collision reported.
10:34 am – Brazeau County – RR 92 – Report of a vehicle collision. Complainant advised he had backed into a parked vehicle. Collision statement completed.
1:01 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting they were travelling west on Hwy 22 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
2:50 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant was travelling southbound on Hwy 22 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
3:19 pm – Drayton Valley – Industrial Road – Complainant called police to report a break and enter in to mailboxes. Members attended and photographed the scene. Investigation continuing.
3:39 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 street – Members dispatched to Dairy Queen as a female was believed to be doing drugs in the bathroom. Members attended and but the female had left. Members located the female walking a short distance away. Female spoken with about only using the bathroom for what it is intended for.
3:40 pm – Brazeau County – Cynthia – Complainant reported that a male was sleeping in the back parking lot of gas bar for several hours and it seemed suspicious. Members attended, the male was just sleeping as he was super tired and did not want to crash his vehicle.
3:41 pm – Brazeau County – Beaver Estates – Police were dispatched to the continuation of a neighbor hood dispute. Dispute is around the complainant’s dogs and them not staying in their own property. Animal control advised of the situation.
6:02 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 street – Police were dispatched to an unwanted person using the bathroom in the North end Petro Canada. Police attended and located the same female who had been at Dairy Queen earlier. Female removed.
7:48 pm – Brazeau County – Township 510 – Female complainant called police requesting mental health assistance with her son who was fighting with his father. Member’s attended and separated the parties and came up with a temporary plan. Referral made to the RPACT, the rural mental health team.
8:35 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 street – Police were dispatched to a fraudulent cheque being deposited at BMO in Drayton Valley. Named signed on the back of the cheque is a known female. Investigation is continuing.
10:20 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 avenue – Complainant called police advising that a male was urinating in the bush near McDonalds. Members attended and spoke with the male who was homeless about peeing in a more appropriate location.
May 27
7:55 am – Drayton Valley – Report of a possible cheque fraud. Matter is under investigation.
9:09 am – Brazeau County – RR 75 – Police were dispatched to a complaint of break and enter to a lease site. Investigation continuing.
9:48 am – Drayton Valley – Industrial Road – Members took statement from a male for the Chief Firearms Officer in regards to the sale of a firearm.
10:04 am – Drayton Valley – 44 Avenue – complainant reporting they were backing out of their driveway and a vehicle and trailer were pulling up to park at the same time. Vehicle struck the trailer.
11:32 am – Brazeau County – RR 85 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle. Driver issued a violation ticket for no registration. A warning given for speeding.
12:07 pm – Cynthia – complainant reporting they had metal sheeting for their roof at their property. They went away for a few days and when they returned a few of the sheets were missing.
12:36 pm – Drayton Valley – 34 Avenue – complainant reporting they were backing up in the parking lot and collided with a cement guard.
1:30 pm – Drayton Valley area – Report received of a stolen/lost licence plate off their ATV.
1:34 pm – Drayton Valley – 54 Avenue – Report of a possible break and enter overnight received. Gate was open and the latch had been disturbed. No attempts to enter property. Damage to gate and latch.
1:57 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Several driving complaints received regarding a speeding stolen vehicle. Members were patrolling and located vehicle. 2 individuals were subsequently arrested with the assistance of the police dog service and charged accordingly.
2:11 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report of a white Chevrolet Truck pulling into the parking lot. Two males got out and went into the bush carrying something. They then left.
2:15 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report received of a broken window at a hotel. Gas had been stolen from the vehicle and a wallet had been left behind.
3:33 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting speeding through school zone. Members located individual and warned them about their driving behaviour.
3:36 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report of a possible impaired driver in a red pickup truck. Members attended area, vehicle was gone upon arrival. Patrols in area were negative.
3:41 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report of an erratic driver in a white vehicle. Member patrolled the area with negative results.
4:04 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report of a suspicious white Ford F150 parked near the dump. Members attended and located known male. No offence.
4:13 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 620 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for speeding.
4:24 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 620 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for no registration.
5:04 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for speeding.
5:35 pm – Brazeau county – Rr 73 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for no registration.
6:47 pm – Drayton Valley – Madsen Avenue – Complainant reporting harassment at hospital. Member attended, known female has been banned from the hospital unless requiring care. Female was refusing to leave after receiving care. Female moved when requested to by member.
7:45 pm – Brazeau County – Report received of erratic drivers. A white Chevrolet Truck with a black tailgate and a smaller white car were racing. Member contacted the Registered Owners of both vehicles. Incident of Road Rage. One vehicle had cut off the other. Both parties were warned about the driving behaviour.
10:50 pm – Drayton Valley – 44 Avenue – Report received of an abandoned trailer at the RV park. Doors are open and it is a complete mess inside.
11:29 pm – Drayton Valley – 62 Street – Report received of individuals trespassing in the FORTIS compound. Members attended, individuals were gone upon arrival. No damage to vehicles or buildings.
May 28
1:12 am – Drayton Valley – 45 Street – Report received of an assault. Members attended. One male arrested for assault and outstanding warrants.
4:57 am – Brazeau County – RR 81 – Request to assist Fire department with a residential fire. No one trapped. Member attended.
5:56 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 621 – Report of a possible impaired driver in a white Toyota Rav 4. Vehicle is swerving all over the road. Member patrolled, unable to locate.
7:04 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting their 1995 BMW, Dark Green, stolen from their residence. Further investigation revealed civil matter. Person who took the vehicle had borrowed it prior to buying the vehicle.
10:39 am – Brazeau county – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for speeding.
12:37 am – Drayton Valley – Beckett Road – Complainant requesting patrols as numerous vehicles are speeding. Members advised to make more proactive patrols in area.
2:39 pm – Drayton Valley – 44 Avenue – Report of a dispute received. Members attended. One male arrested for assault with a weapon.
4:25 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant called as they were concerned about a male who is walking in traffic. Members attended and located known male who was acting erratically. Male provided a courtesy ride.
4:38 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report of an abandoned vehicle at TEAM Auctions. Member attended and located vehicle. Registered owner contacted who advised they were working in the area. Advised to park in a better place.
5:33 pm – Brazeau County – Report of a possible break and enter in progress. Two males on quads attended cabin and entered. When they left, they left the door open. Members attended, no one in area.
6:00 pm – Brazeau County – Report received of a possible break and enter to a lease site. Two trucks were observed on the access road. Members attended and located tracks around the gate where the cement blockades had been dragged out of the way. Matter is still under investigation.
6:09 pm – Brazeau County – Report of dispute between family regarding estate. Ongoing issue. All parties advised this is a civil matter and is to be dealt with through the estate.
10:16 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 621 – Report of two loud bangs heard. Members attended area and patrolled. No loud sounds heard.
10:19 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report received of individuals in the parking lot and appear as though they are trying to get into the building. Members attended, individuals were gone upon arrival. Patrols made and one individual matching description located. Looking for cigarette butts.
May 29
1:04 am – Drayton Valley – report of a suspicious vehicle. White Ford Crew Cab in the parking lot with lights on since 10 pm.
7:13 AM – Drayton Valley – 43A Street – Report received of theft of 2005 Grey Chevrolet Silverado stolen from outside residence overnight.
7:47 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report received of a suspicious vehicle. Grey Chrysler Sebring has been in the parked for the past 3 hours. Members attended and located vehicle. Driver stated that vehicle had broken down. Same confirmed.
8:46 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report received of theft of a white 2007 GMC Sierra overnight.
9:57 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Report of vandalism received. Building manager reporting tenants were to be out of unit today. When manager went to the apartment they noted several inches of water in bathroom and is now seeping into apartment below.
11:51 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report of a erratic driver in a silver corolla. Driver of corolla cut in front of another driver.
1:53 pm – Drayton Valley – 49 Street – Report of theft of Grey 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 received. Vehicle had been stolen overnight.
3:41 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Member on patrol observed a vehicle broken down on the highway. Member asked if everything was ok, male covered face. Member turned around to conduct traffic stop and male got into vehicle and sped off. Vehicle lost rear axle and rear tires. Vehicle kept driving into the ditch then into field where driver took off on foot.
5:18 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report of a suspicious vehicle. Grey or sand coloured older GMC pickup truck was speeding. Members patrolled the area, vehicle not located.
7:14 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report received of a traffic hazard on the road. Member attended and located a vehicle with a flat tire. Driver was attempting to get vehicle to tire dealer in Drayton Valley. Member provided escort by driving behind.
11:12 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Member on patrol observed a light coming from a residence that is frequently broken into. Members attended residence and three individuals arrested and charged with break and enter.
May 30
12:25 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report of known female is behaving erratically. Members attended and spoke with female who agreed to quiet down and move along.
10:17 AM – Drayton Valley – 44 Avenue – Report received of a two vehicle collision. Minor injuries.
11:08 am – Drayton Valley – Power Centre Blvd. – Report of an attempted theft of vehicle from Ford Dealership.
11:42 am – Drayton valley – 51 Avenue – Report of a two vehicle collision. No injuries
12:29 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reports they were parked at a campsite. When they returned, they noted damage to their 2022 Blue Ram Truck.
2:31 pm – Tomahawk – Neighbour dispute, ongoing. Issue between the two parties over the building of a fence.
2:59 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report received of a breach of no trespass. Known female attended the property after a no trespass notice had been given. Member attended and advised female to leave the property.
3:15 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 A Street – Report of suspicious activity in bushes. Complainant states they believe there is a homeless camp in the bushes. There are a lot of people there. Members attended and located a small camp. No one there at the time.
4:08 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant advised they were travelling on Hwy 22 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
5:15 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report of a single vehicle rollover. Semi truck rolled while entering the off ramp from Hwy 22 eastbound. Fire and EMS attended along with members.
6:04 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for no registration.
8:10 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Street – Request for members to attend residence to keep the peace. Members attended while belongings were removed.
May 31
9:52 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report of a yellow storage type truck on the highway with no hazards on. Members attended and located driver who had run out of gas. Courtesy ride provided.
11:36 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report received of an erratic driver in an orange mustang GT convertible. Vehicle is speeding, tailgating and passing vehicles on double solid lines. Registered owner contacted and made aware of the complaint.
11:39 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report received of an erratic driver in a Red and Black dodge, no licence plate. Members patrolled, vehicle not located.
12:15 pm – Drayton Valley – Call received from hospital regarding an individual who needed transportation. Member attended and spoke with all parties.
1:08 pm – Tomahawk – Report of an unusual encounter. Driver in a semi truck stated an individual sprayed the windshield with a hose when they were driving by, when driver stopped an argument ensued. Members attended and spoke with the complainant who advised they are upset with the speeding tucks.
1:34 pm – Drayton Valley – 34 Avenue – Report of squatters and trespassing on company property. While conducting an environmental examination they found a small tent city.
2:06 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting they were driving on Township road 482 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
2:51 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Street – Report of a residential alarm received. While enroute, member received call that it was a false alarm.
4:01 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant advising that there is a known individual staying on late brother’s property. Ongoing issue, advised to contact lawyer.
5:18 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report received of an individual looking through a dumpster. Requested for more patrols in the area.
5:44 pm – Brazeau County – RR 83 – Commercial alarm received. Members attended, everything secure. Employees were just leaving at the time of the alarm.
7:19 pm – Drayton Valley – Econorest – Report or a break, enter and theft received. Someone had broken into the basement and stole several boxes of flooring.
8:17 pm – Drayton Valley – 44 Street – Report of a landlord tenant dispute. Tenant is moving out and landlord came to conduct inspection. Stains found on carpet and an argument ensued regarding the damage deposit. Members attended and both parties advised this was a civil issue.
9:33 pm – Drayton valley – 45 Street – Noise complaint received. People partying on the front lawn, cheering and blowing horns. Members attended and party had dispersed.
9:38 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report of a dispute. Members attended and spoke with all parties. Argument that escalated into a physical scuffle. Parties separated for the night.
11:27 pm – Drayton Valley – 49B Street – Report of 5threats and an assault received. Members attended and spoke with all parties. One individual arrested for assault.
June 1
12:01 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop after observing vehicle swerving on the road. Roadside Breath demand given and fail reading obtained. Vehicle towed and licence suspended 90 days.
12:37 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – 911 hang-up received. Members attended, related to previous file. Members advised previously arrested individual that they would be charged with breach if they continued behaviour.
1:33 am – Drayton Valley – 47A Avenue – Request to conduct a wellbeing check on individual as they had called them crying. Member attended and spoke with individual who was upset.
1:47 am – Brazeau County – Report received of an abandoned vehicle. Red Chevrolet Sedan is parked at the end of their driveway. Member called the registered owner who advised the car would be removed within 2 hours.
7:19 am – Drayton Valley – 47 Street – 911 hangup received. Caller requested police. Member attended location, individual had called 911 by mistake.
7:40 am – Brazeau County – Report of an individual exhibiting erratic behaviour. Members attended and transported one male to hospital.
8:04 am – Drayton Valley – 43 Avenue – Report of theft of lawn furniture received. Matter is under investigation.
8:30 am – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant advised they were travelling northbound on hwy 22 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
11:50 am – Drayton Valley – Econorest – Request for members to assist bailiff with eviction. Member attended and kept the peace.
11:53 am – Drayton Valley – 911 hang-up received. Member tried calling the number back, no answer. Unknown where the call originated from.
12:00 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Report received of missing person. Daughter had ran away after an argument. Member located daughter and spoke with all parties.
3:39 pm – Brazeau County – Report received of a break and enter to two trailers sometime between May 27 and may 31.
5:05 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report received of teens doing drugs behind the school. Member attended, no one observed doing drugs. Members spoke with several youth and asked them to leave the area.
7:07 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for no registration.
11:22 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Street – Report received of an intoxicated female walking in the middle of the road. Members attended and located known female. Female arrested for intoxicated in public and taken to the detachment to sober up.
11:38 pm – Brazeau County – Report received of suspicious males. 2 males had been observed crawling over a fence and into a backyard. Both wearing black hoodies and carrying backpacks. Members patrolled the area, males not located.
June 2
12:42 am – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Report received of unwanted males. 2 males had gained entry into the building and were in an apartment. Members attended and located a male on the stairs. Male arrested on outstanding warrants.
2:16 pm – Drayton Valley – Econorest – Members received a call of a break and enter. Known male and female had tried to break into an apartment. They were confronted and told to leave which they did. Both had been evicted the previous day. Members patrolled the area, individuals not located.
3:44 am – Drayton Valley – Report received of a 911 hang-up. Ongoing issue
