After a 10 day break, the Drayton Valley Thunder resume AJHL playoffs this weekend.
The Thunder will be battling the Spruce Grove Saints in the North Division final.
The Spruce Grove Saints are going to be tough to beat. After finishing the regular season in the number one spot in the Viterra AJHL North Division, the Saints earned a bye straight to the second round. In the second round, the Saints swept the Whitecourt Wolverines 4-0.
The Thunder have been working hard in the playoffs. In the first round, the Thunder disposed of the Lloydminister Bobcats 4-1. In the second round, the Thunder knocked out the Fort McMurray Oil Barons 4-2.
Games 1 and 2 are in Spruce Grove on April 8 and 9. Games 3 and 4 are at the Drayton Valley Omniplex on April 12 and 13.
