Brazeau County has opened nominations for its Citizen Appreciation Program for 2022.
County citizens are welcome to nominate any individual, business, or community group who has gone the extra mile to keep the County beautiful.
Some examples the County gives are mowing County ditches and parks, or cleaning up refuse from County parks and cemeteries.
About the only requirements are that the nominee must be a current or former County resident, and must have been doing the activity for more than one year in a volunteer capacity. If you are nominating a business or organization, they must be operating in the County.
Once an award recipient has been selected, they will receive a gift of recognition from Brazeau County council. The awards will be handed out periodically throughout the year at regular council meetings.
