November 25
9:00 am – Twp 480 – Brazeau County – Complaint of a single vehicle rollover. Police attended, vehicle in the trees on its roof. Driver no longer at the vehicle but left behind a large amount of beer cans in and around the vehicle. Registered owner contacted and vehicle towed. Investigation continues.
9:22am – RR 73 Drayton Valley – Vehicle vs deer collision. Complainant advised they were travelling on RR 73 and were struck by a deer.
9:37 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 621 – Complainant advised they were travelling northbound on Hwy 621 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
10:06 am – Brazeau County – RR 75 – Complainant attended the detachment with a meter reading device they had found.
10:17am – Drayton Valley – Theft of Truck – Complainant advised their 2002 Black Ford F350 was stolen overnight. Members attended and obtained statement. Matter is still under investigation.
11:36 am – Brazeau county – Complainant advised they were travelling east on Hwy 627 when they hit an icy patch. Individual behind struck complainant’s vehicle.
12:40pm – Hwy 620 – Brazeau County – Complaint received of a vehicle striking a power pole. Power lines were down and sparking. Members attended with fire, EMS and Fortis. Driver of vehicle not injured, had swerved to miss a deer and struck the power pole. Fortis fixed up the lines.
1:44 pm – Brazeau county – Complainant advised that they had hired a tow truck to tow their vehicle away from another individuals property. Individual advised they were not allowed to take the truck. Members attended and spoke with individual who reluctantly allowed them to tow the truck.
1:48pm – Brazeau County – Complaint of breach of court order. Members attended and spoke with the complainant who advised their ex was attempting to pick up their truck from the property. Members assisted in the truck being returned to the owner. Members determined there had been no breach of the court order.
3:34pm – Drayton Valley – Police were dispatched to a 911 hang up call from Drayton Valley RCMP. Our young Cst. called our dispatch back and apologized for dialing an extra 1 while attempting to phone outside the detachment.
5:15pm – Lodgepole – Complainant advised that his trailer he did not know was stolen was recovered by friends near Lodgepole. Investigation continuing.
9:10pm – RR 63 – Brazeau County – Complainant advised that a Hyundai Tuscan seen travelling north bound at a high rate of speed had crashed. Male driver of Tuscan asked the complainant to drive him to his friends. When complainant refused to drive male and called the police, he fled the scene. Police attended determined vehicle to be stolen out of Edmonton. Documents located and driver identified. Police dog Service attended but were unable to locate the male. Investigation continuing.
10:14pm – Brazeau County – Report of a missing youth. Youth located by police and spoken to. She was determined to be safe.
November 26
12:11 am – Joshua Boulevard – Drayton Valley – Suspicious vehicle – Complainant reported a suspicious male and female, driving a dark colored 4 door sedan, in their yard pretending to be property managers. Male and female were offering to provide a midnight quote for cutting the complainants snow covered grass. Sedan left prior to police arrival. Investigation continuing.
9:42 am – Drayton Valley – 44 Street – Complainant called to report their catalytic converter was stolen from their vehicle.
9:46 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Fish and Wildlife request assistance with an injured deer. Fish and Wildlife not attending. Member attended, deer located and was euthanized
11:25 am – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a dark colored GMC truck is braking and riding the side of the road. Member patrolled the area, vehicle not located.
11:48 am – Drayton Valley – Mitchell Drive – Complainant reporting they saw a 2006 Chevrolet extended cab pickup truck stuck in the middle of the road near their residence. Occupants advised they were looking for work. Members completed patrols, vehicle not located.
1:25 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting an assault. Complainant’s roommate had punched them. Member attended, complainant would not provide a statement, just wanted the other party spoken to. Member spoke to other individual and provided a warning.
2:46 PM – Drayton Valley – 43 Avenue – Complainant reporting their friend received a snapchat with threats. Person who sent snapchat is unknown to complainant. Matter is still under investigation.
2:52 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 39 – Complainant reporting they were travelling on Hwy 39 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
3:32 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 620 – Complainant reporting they were travelling on Hwy 620 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
3:48 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Complainant reporting a burgundy 2006 Chevrolet Duramax with gray tailgate and tinted windows is spinning tires and stunting at the Omniplex parking lot. 2 male occupants.
5:38 PM – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting tracks on their property. Likely hunters trespassing on property.
6:49 pm – Brazeau County – RR 82 – Complainant reporting they were travelling on RR 82 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
8:19 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting an erratic driver on Hwy 22 near RR 71. No description of vehicle provided. Member made patrols, no erratic drivers located.
9:00 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting known male was found at apartment building. Several youth are getting into a shoving match. Member attended and broke up situation. Subject left while member was talking with other parties. Subject was very intoxicated. Member provided a courtesy ride to male youth.
9:36 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting male had driven away intoxicated. Members made patrols, vehicle and male not located.
10:00 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 621 – Complainant reporting their truck was in the ditch after they swerved to avoid another vehicle that had come into their lane. Member attended. Complainant advised that a Vac truck had taken a wide turn and went into their lane.
10:30 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Member on patrol was flagged down by EMS to assist with identifying a male who had overdosed. Member identified male who was taken to the hospital.
10:46 pm – Drayton Valley – 62 Street – Complainant reporting trespassing at a work yard. 2 males are looking through scrap metal. Males left, Members located one male who was arrested and charged with break and enter, Fail to comply with conditions and resisting arrest.
11:29 pm – Drayton Valley – 46 Avenue – Commercial alarm at Evergreen school. Alarm cancelled prior to arrival, member attended, cleaning staff had set off alarm.
11:41 pm – Drayton Valley – 56 Street – Complainant reporting son is intoxicated. Members had taken male youth to residence earlier in the night. Male had left residence and complainant was concerned for their wellbeing. Members located male who was arrested for intoxicated in public and held until sober.
November 27
12:24 am – Brazeau county – RR 80 – 911 hang up received. Members attended location and spoke with all parties. No concerns.
7:31 am – Drayton Valley – 47 Street – Complainant reporting theft of their 2014 Ram Truck overnight. Vehicle located at collision scene involving a power pole at RR 85. No persons in vehicle.
9:53 am – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Complainant reporting a male sleeping in the lobby of the ATB bank. Members attended, male had left prior to arrival.
10:46 am – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting a motor vehicle collision. Gravel truck had not been placed in park and the vehicle rolled into a work truck. No injuries.
2:09 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting an unknown female is threatening them. Member attended and both parties spoken to. No threats received.
4:43 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Street – Complainant reporting dispute upstairs. Members attended, no one home at residence. Member spoke with other party, no issues.
7:29 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting shoplifters at 7-11. 3 unknown youth stole lighters.
8:29 pm – Drayton Valley – 54 Avenue – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on individual. Member attended. Occupant was fine,
November 28
12:49 am – Drayton Valley – 44 Street – Complainant reporting they were driving home when an occupant of the vehicle jumped out. Member located individual during a traffic stop.
7:08 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting males appearing as they were going to steal vehicles. When complainant approached them they took off. Member located vehicle, traffic stop initiated. Male jumped out of passenger seat.
8:15 am – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting threats. Complainant had dropped off a pail of hydraulic fluid in front of bay door. Individual got angry and hit complainants vehicle. Members attended and both parties spoken to. No threats uttered, complainant was angry as they had been fired.
10:46 am – Drayton Valley – Request from Rocky Mountain House RCMP to serve subpoena for court on individual living in Drayton Valley.
1:06 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting a male passed out in one of the cubicles in the washroom. Members attended, EMS called to assist with possible overdose.
1:40 pm – Drayton Valley – 49B Street – Complainant requesting assistance on retrieving belongings. Family dispute the evening before. Members attended and kept the peace.
4:04 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting they were rear ended by a green pickup truck. Other party had refused to provide information. Suspect vehicle took off.
5:10 pm – Brazeau county – Complainant reporting an altercation with Ex and friends while they were dropping off children. Ex’s boyfriend threatened complainant. Complainant did not wish charges.
5:41 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 620 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle which only had one headlight. Violation ticket issued.
6:30 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 620 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver was impaired by drugs and issued a 24 hour suspension, vehicle towed.
7:32 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting their door handle broken on their vehicle. Licence plate stolen as well.
8:36 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle. Dark coloured van stopped on the highway then moved onto a lease site. Members attended, vehicle located. Vehicle had broken down. Individual provided a courtesy ride to Drayton Valley.
8:37 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting ex had pushed them during custody exchange. Complainant would not provide a statement, wanted other party spoken to. Member spoke with other party.
10:23 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street –Member on patrol located two dogs running on the street. Member retrieved dogs and located owners.
November 29
6:27 am – Lodgepole – Report of a fire. Member attended, fire department did not. Fire is not out of control.
9:16 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting known male is wandering around one of the hotels and kicked their vehicle. Male is talking nonsense. Members attended area, male had left prior to arrival.
10:01 am – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting they were travelling on Hwy 22 when they hit black ice, however were able to pull over safely. Another vehicle lost control and coll8ided with the rear driver’s side corner.
10:35 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant advised that they were backing up in the parking lot and hit another vehicle causing damage to the rear tail light.
10:48 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Complainant reporting a suspicious male that appears to be breaking into a suite. Members attended and conducted patrols, male had left area.
11:22 am – Brazeau County – RR 72 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle fail to stop. Driver issued a violation ticket,
11:30 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a disturbance. Male is yelling, they wanted to stay another night at hotel, however hotel unable to accommodate request. Members attended, male was intoxicated. Male escorted off premises.
11:30 am – Brazeau County – RR 71 – Member attended residence to conduct a curfew check. Vehicle in driveway belonged to individual who was on no contact conditions.
2:01 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting they were travelling on Hwy 22 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
2:08 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting male had returned to hotel parking lot. Member attended and located known male. Courtesy ride provided
3:59 pm – Drayton Valley – 54 Street – Commercial alarm. Member attended and located employee. Alarm False
8:12 pm – Lodgepole – Complainant reporting theft of trailer over the weekend. Trailer is a 25 foot Jayco.
November 30
12:13 am – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting male is looking for a place to stay for the night and keeps banging on their apartment door. Members attended, male had left
12:55 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting an intoxicated male walking in the middle of the road. Male is wearing a black hoodie and black or blue jeans.
11:29 AM – Brazeau county – Complainant advised that they were travelling west near Birchwood Golf Course when they slid into the ditch and hit a tree
12:30 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – Complainant reporting unwanted male on conditions to not be near the complex.
12:52 pm – Drayton Valley – Mackenzie Avenue – Complainant reporting theft of licence plate over the weekend.
1:05 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting suspicious activity. Members attended, male refused to open the door. Male was later located and arrested on outstanding warrants.
1:43 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant advised they were travelling on Hwy 22 whe3n a stone from a trucking company hit their windshield.
2:11 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant calling to report an attempted theft of vehicle and damaged to other vehicles.
3:44 pm – Drayton Valley – 63 Street – Complainant reporting suspicious person in compound. Male wearing a red ball cap and dark jacket with a black backpack had come into their lot and went towards an employee’s vehicle. Male was confronted and told to leave. Members attended and patrols completed, male not located.
4:33 pm – Lodgepole – Complainant calling to report their Christmas tree stolen along with some groceries. Complainant had borrowed a truck and owners came and took truck back with all belongings inside.
5:13 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Complainant called to report they thought someone had broken into their apartment and stole their cigarettes out of their freezer. Member attended and spoke with all parties who were intoxicated.
5:28 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle failing to stop. Driver issued a violation ticket.
7:01 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant called to request a wellbeing check on female looking to get a cab to Edmonton. Member attended and located female who appeared to be suffering from dementia.
8:46 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant calling to report an intoxicated male laying in the parking lot. Male is a guest at the hotel. Member attended and located male with a swollen face. EMS attended and transported to hospital.
December 1
12:16 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a white Chevrolet impala swerving and crossing over into oncoming traffic. Members patrolled area, vehicle not located.
4:33 am – Brazeau County – Complainant calling to report a break and enter to a lease site. Members attended
6:38 am – Drayton Valley – 49 Street – Complainant reporting someone breaking into an abandoned residence. Male is wearing all black and carrying a backpack. Members attended and located known male who had only been on the porch. No entry to residence made.
7:59 AM – Drayton Valley – Beckett Road – Complainant reporting theft of their work truck. Vehicle is a 2006 Ford F350, blue in colour
8:21 am – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting they were travelling on Hwy 13 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
8:49 am – Drayton Valley – Madsen Avenue – 911 hang up from Drayton Valley Hospital. Ongoing issue. No emergency.
10:42 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Complainant reporting a suspicious male wearing a jean jacket, dark sweat pants and large glasses. Male was throwing garbage around the post office. Members attended and conducted patrols in the area. Male not located.
10:47 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant advising an intoxicated male who is not wanted at the hotel. Members attended and located male who was arrested for being intoxicated in public. Male brought back to Drayton Valley detachment and held until sober.
11:29 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on male. Member attended and spoke with male who was fine.
12:36 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting they were driving when they were side swiped by another vehicle.
3:58 pm – Drayton Valley – 62 Street – Complainant reporting theft of vehicle. 2005 Ford SRW F350, dark blue in colour, Harley Davidson edition was stolen sometime in the morning
6:52 pm – Brazeau county – Complainant reporting their grey 2002 Ford F350 was stolen from a lease site. Members located the vehicle, 2 suspects arrested.
