November 10
5:57 am – Parkland County – Twp 514 – Collision between a vehicle and deer.
12:08 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Threats uttered at a business. Police attended but employees had already deescalated the situation and no longer needed police intervention.
5:05 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Truck stolen sometime overnight. Grey 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 with a light bar on top, Alberta license plate AE4904.
5:36 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report of an erratic driver. Attempts to locate the vehicle were unsuccessful.
6:00 pm – Parkland County – Hwy 624 – Police were called to assist EMS with a medical call.
6:35 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Report of a vehicle starting on fire while driving on the highway.
November 11
6:44 am – Brazeau County – Secure lease site broken into, vehicle dragged from the location and the tires/rims were stolen.
8:11 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued violation ticket for no registration.
12:10 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report of a possible break and enter. Alarm went off inside the residence, caller thinks someone might be inside. Police attended and cleared the residence, nobody located within, no damage or signs of forced entry found.
2:10 pm – Brazeau County – RR 70 & Twp 514 – Stolen vehicle located abandoned by Fish & Wildlife officers. Vehicle was stolen out of Wetaskiwin and had been stripped down.
5:32 pm – Brazeau County – Twp 492 – Report of a possible break and enter to a business. Police attended, door and windows damaged but not clear if entry was made.
5:33 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Police were called regarding a sibling dispute over a Playstation. When members were able to attend they had already been able to settle their differences.
6:29 pm – Drayton Valley – Power Centre Blvd – Unwanted person at a business. Police attended and removed the person.
7:07 pm – Drayton Valley – 43 Street – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on female who had approached complainant asking for a ride.
9:49 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for failing to stop.
10:11 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Vehicle pulled over for speeding near the North Saskatchewan bridge, 40-year-old driver from Red Deer found to be impaired. Immediate Roadside Sanctions issued including a 1 year driving suspension, $1000 fine, 30 day vehicle seizure as well as tickets for speeding and failing to produce a driver’s license.
10:13 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report of a possible domestic, caller could hear a male and female arguing in a parking lot. Police attended and could not locate anyone.
November 12
6:42 am – Parkland County – Twp 510 – Report of an injured elk that appeared to have been hit by a vehicle and needed to be euthanized.
8:23 am – Drayton Valley – Centre Court – Possible theft of power, issues with electrical overnight. Electric company fixed the issue but caller believes neighbours are stealing power.
8:34 am – Drayton Valley – 56 Street – Abandoned vehicle parked in company lot overnight. Before police arrived the vehicle was moved and had belonged to an employee of a neighbouring business.
9:03 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – 2 vehicle collision in a parking lot, no injuries.
9:16 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Driving complaint, police contacted and the owner of the vehicle about their driving habits and that the vehicle registration was expired.
9:33 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report of a collision between a vehicle and a deer.
9:45 am – Drayton Valley – Madsen Avenue – 911 hang-up from the hospital. No emergency reported.
10:49 am – Brazeau County – Request from Prince Albert Police Service to serve documents on someone who they believe lives in the area.
1:04 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting theft of hay bales. 3 hay bales had been taken from property. Members attended and was able to locate the hay bales. Returned to owner.
1:37 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for failing to stop.
1:31 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 621 – Report of a collision between a vehicle and a deer.
6:47 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report of a vehicle travelling at erratic speeds going north. Members requested Evansburg Detachment attempt to locate the vehicle.
7:45 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Police were called regarding a concern for wellbeing. The person in question was already receiving medical attention and police were not required.
8:57 pm – Brazeau County – Cynthia – Police located a vehicle in the same location previous stolen vehicles have been located. While investigating the vehicle the owner came out, confirmed vehicle was not stolen.
11:04 pm – Parkland County – Hwy 624 – Request for a welfare check. Members attended, no concerns noted.
November 13
1:43 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report of two people arguing on the street. Members attended, no indication of violence, parties separated.
9:00 am – Drayton Valley – Caller reported attempted extortion online. Suspect manipulated the victim into having a video chat and obtained sensitive photos before demanding $500 or they would share them with their friends and family. Suspect believed to be out of country.
11:35 am – Brazeau County – Elk River Road – Police and Fire Services attended to a collision involving a vehicle pulling a travel trailer lost control on the slipper road surface. The travel trailer rolled, but towing vehicle stayed upright, no injuries.
3:12 pm – Brazeau County – Theft of copper wire from a lease site.
5:00 pm – Brazeau County – Cynthia – Request for information regarding an apparent abandoned property. Referred to the county office.
5:06 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report of an unwanted person leaving garbage around a property where they do not reside, when members arrived the person had left already.
10:08 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Driving complaint, members patrolled for the vehicle but it was not located.
10:45 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 753 – Break-in to a lase site, members attended and located the suspect vehicle leaving the area which fled at a high rate of speed.
11:34 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report of a fight at a bar. Members attended, one person was already gone. From reviewing video footage and speaking with witnesses police determined it was consensual fight.
November 14
8:06 am – Brazeau County – Cynthia – Multiple static 911 hang-up calls received from a business. Police attended, nothing of concern found. Property owner advised of the issue.
10:18 am – Drayton Valley – Industrial Road – Call received of person breaking windows at the Econorest. Police attended and located the suspect walking away in the back alley. The suspect was arrested and transported to cells to be held until sober. The suspect was later released for court with charges pending for Mischief under $5000 and Breach of Release Conditions.
1:52 pm – Brazeau County – complainant reporting an erratic driver in a blue Chev truck. Vehicle is speeding then turned down a lease road. Members attended location, vehicle not located.
4:13 pm – Drayton Valley – Econorest – Complainant reporting individuals came to their apartment and began packing up their things without consent. Member attended. Eviction notice had ben served on complainant. Member advised that eviction notice needed to come from the landlord tenant act.
5:00 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a male lying in the bush. Members attended and located a shed in the bush. A second male was located who was arrested on outstanding warrants.
11:03 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a possible impaired driver. Individual had ordered a cab for person, they got into their own vehicle instead. Vehicle is a burgundy older model jeep grand Cherokee. Members patrolled the area, vehicle not located.
November 15
12:09 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting they heard that a known female was trying to steal their vehicle. Members attended and located the vehicle untouched. Accusations were false.
12:28 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a male attended hospital and was allowed to sit outside in a wheelchair. Wheelchair and male are gone. Members located male and returned wheelchair.
12:49 am – Drayton Valley – 54 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for no registration.
1:07 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no lights on. Driver was impaired. Vehicle seized for 30 days. Driver given a courtesy ride to local hotel.
1:21 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – complainant reporting a female is acting erratically, throwing things around. Members attended and mediated the issue. Both parties went to bed.
1:34 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for open liquor in vehicle.
8:20 am – Drayton Valley – 57 Avenue – Complainant called to report theft of 2 catalytic converters and a generator from business overnight.
10:46 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting their ex broke into their residence and tampered with their cigarettes. Members attended, complainant suffering from drug induced paranoia. No signs of forced entry.
11:05 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant stated that they were travelling west on Hwy 22 when a cougar collided with their vehicle.
11:08 am – Drayton Valley Hospital – 911 open line. Ongoing issue. Member attended, no emergency.
11:11 am – Drayton Valley – 58 Avenue – Complainant called to report theft of catalytic converter overnight.
11:59 am – Brazeau County – Complainant called to report their friend won’t give them their keys. Complainant called back and advised the issue had been resolved. Member attended and spoke with both parties.
1:28 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting they were on Hwy 22 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
2:35 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting an unwanted male. Members attended, male had left prior to arrival.
3:41 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant called and advised they believed a vehicle had driven off the road behind them. Member attended location and patrolled the area, no vehicle located.
5:42 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 620 – Complainant reporting a semi truck slid onto their driveway and jack knifed crashing into their fence. Member attended. No injuries.
6:12 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – 911 hang-up sounded like a male in a vehicle. Members contacted caller who advised all was ok.
6:49 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant called to report their roommate was smoking meth. Members attended, male had left.
6:57 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Multi vehicle collision. Member attended, no sign of an accident. Patrols in area were negative as well.
7:34 pm – Drayton Valley – 34 Avenue – Complainant called to report they found a needle with an unknown substance in it. Member attended and seized needle
9:30 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant attended detachment to report an assault. Matter is still under investigation.
10:55 PM – Drayton Valley – Complainant called to request members check on friend. Members attended location, friend would not open the door or speak with members. Further follow-up to be made.
November 16
12:06 am – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant called to report a male and female arguing. Members attended and located both parties. Male brought back to detachment to be released when sober.
12:19 am – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant called to report they were assaulted. Complainant to attend detachment to provide statement.
6:14 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting a verbal dispute. Members attended and provided a courtesy ride.
6:39 am – Cynthia – 911 alarm, ongoing issue.
7:00 am – Drayton Valley – 64 Street – commercial alarm received. Dispatch advised that it was a false alarm, staff on site.
8:10 am – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting their camper trailer had been broken into and badly damaged. Member attended and seized some items that had been displaced.
8:58 am – Brazeau County – Complainant concerned that ex had sent their son a photo of a deer that had been hunted. Concerned they may have access to firearms. Complainant had no safety concerns
9:28 am – Drayton Valley – Drayton valley hospital called requesting member attendance to sit with patient until they can be assessed. Patient was acting erratically.
9:49 am – Brazeau county – Complainant advised they were travelling north on RR 72 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
12:09 pm – Drayton Valley – Request received from Edmonton to serve subpoena on individual for court in February.
12:12 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant attended detachment to provide a statement regarding ongoing issues with an individual.
1:50 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting they were travelling on Hwy 22 when they struck a deer that came out of the ditch.
3:02 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a two vehicle collision which occurred in a parking lot.
4:51 pm – Drayton Valley – Greenwood Trailer court – Complainant reporting an assault. Member attended, statement taken. Male arrested for assault.
5:13 PM – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting a dispute. Ex had woken up and became aggressive and tried to punch and kick complainant. Male had left residence. Members attended and arrested male for assault.
5:33 PM – Drayton Valley – 41A Avenue – Complainant reporting a break and enter to garage. Known female found inside by complainant who appeared to be disoriented. Members attended and arrested female. Complainant did not wish to pursue charges.
5:36 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting an unwanted female. Members attended, same female from previous file. Female taken to Detachment where she was held until sober.
8:58 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant advised a male had flagged them down. Driver had hit an elk while driving.
November 17
12:01 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting a male passed out in the stairwell of apartment.
1:50 am – Drayton Valley – Greenwood Trailer court – Complainant attended detachment to report an assault. Statement taken, accused located, both parties very intoxicated. Statement taken from accused. Further follow-up required.
2:23 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Complainant reporting a single vehicle collision. Members attended and driver was noted to be intoxicated. Tests proved same. Vehicle seized and towed. Driver did not have a valid drivers license, insurance or registration. Violation tickets issued for same.
8:32 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report of a homeless person sleeping in the lobby. Member attended, suspect arrested on outstanding warrants and transported to the detachment for a release hearing.
8:33 am – Brazeau County – Lodgepole – Panic alarm at a business. Member attended, false alarm.
9:16 am – Brazeau County – Single vehicle collision, trailer jackknifed causing damage to the vehicle. No injuries.
10:33 am – Parkland County – Hwy 22 – Request to assist Evansburg detachment with a 2 vehicle head on collision. Members attended and rerouted traffic until collision investigation completed.
11:05 am – Brazeau County – Two 494 – Single vehicle collision, slid off the roadway and struck a post. No injuries.
11:11 am – Drayton Valley – 51 Street – Report of a business door cracked overnight. Nothing left behind, did not appear to be an attempt to enter the business.
1:01 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Theft of white Mintaro Rambler camper trailer on November 14. Alberta license plate 6AP684.
1:31 pm – Brazeau County – Lodgepole – Shoplifting of liquor. 3 people in a white Oldsmobile Alero.
1:36 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Dispute over payment at a business. No payment had been made and no exchange of goods occurred. Not a police matter.
2:07 pm – Parkland County – Hwy 22 – Report of a jackknifed semi. Members were on scene assisting Evansburg RCMP with traffic control regarding another collision, there was no jackknifed semi present.
2:49 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Complainant advising that an individual had ordered food, however when they came back to pick it up they did not have enough money.
3:01 pm – Parkland County – Hwy 759 – Complainant reporting several semi-trucks driving erratically on Hwy 759. Patrols made. Likely due to traffic being rerouted.
3:19 pm – Drayton Valley – 46 Avenue – Complainant reporting their sister is refusing to come outside and they have an appointment. Member attended and spoke with both parties.
3:39 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Known female reporting keys missing.
4:39 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Complainant called to report a Burgundy F250 with a mismatched tailgate was doing doughnuts in the Omniplex parking lot. Member attended, vehicle was gone, member spoke with other youth in the area and advised them to not partake in this type of activity or there would be consequences.
6:38 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 620 – Complainant reporting sister missing. Complainant advised that their vehicle was in the ditch. Members had provided a courtesy ride to Drayton Valley.
7:24 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting they are at a hotel to confront an individual who owes them money. Complainant advised they would cause a scene until members attended. Members attended, however the subject of complaint would not open the door.
10:15 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a dispute. Members attended, parties separated for the night. Further follow-up will be done.
11:01 PM – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Complainant reporting they were kicked out of a residence and has no place to go.
November 18
12:01 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant calling to report cousin missing. Members attended last known location of male and was advised that they had left as they were not welcome back as they had stolen some items.
5:05 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a suspicious male stole a snow shovel off the complainant’s front steps.
6:56 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a female is walking down the street smashing windows with a hammer. Members attended and located known female who was arrested and taken back to the detachment.
