If you missed your chance for Free Tipping Days, you can try again this weekend.
The Town of Drayton Valley has extended Free Tipping Days to Nov. 5 – 7.
Town officials say Drayton residents will be able to use the Aspen Waste Management Facility for free to dispose of items too big for curbside pickup.
Residents are limited to a maximum of 500 kg, or about one truckload.
Residents will also have to show their proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or utilities bill.
On the Town’s Facebook page, officials acknowledge inclement weather on the original dates of Oct. 21 – 24 kept many people away, so they decided to do it for another weekend.
