Due to repair work taking place under the road, 52 Street, or Highway 778, in the Town of Thorsby will be closed from Oct. 20-24.
The town says the closure is to accommodate work being done in front of 4914 52 Street.
Both lanes in front of the building will be affected.
For traffic accessing the Thorsby Stockyards, the town says trucks coming in northbound will be rerouted from 52 Street to 48 Avenue, then 49 Street and back to 50 Avenue. Alternatively, these travellers can turn right onto Township Road 492, left onto Range Road 11 and left again onto Township Road 492A, otherwise known as 50 Avenue.
