Nominations are in for the upcoming byelection in the Village of Breton.
Nominations closed on Sept. 21, and the following individuals are registered as candidates for the open councillor position:
- Alan Baines
- Rose Huebschwerlen
- Rhonda Lindskog
- Lynn Pritchard
Voting is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 19, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. It takes place at the Carolyn Strand Civic Centre.
To vote, residents must present government-issued photo ID showing their name and current address, or two pieces of authorized ID, both showing a name, with at least one showing an address.
The councillor position opened in July, following the passing of former Councillor Glory Tornack.
