Tickets are still available for Drayton Valley’s annual Mayor’s Gala.
At 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 18, residents will gather at the MacKenzie Conference Centre to celebrate the outstanding individuals, businesses and organizations in the community.
The evening includes cocktails, catering by Nodding Donkey Brewing, entertainment by Terry Flemming and Howard McKay, Miss Joanne’s School of Dance, and, of course, the awards ceremony.
Awards will be presented to nominees in the following categories:
- Arts and Athletics Excellence
- Community Spirit
- Employer of the Year
- Healthcare and Emergency Services
- Oil and Gas
- Youth Empowerment
This year’s theme is 007 (James Bond), or semi-formal.
