Two Stony Plain residents have died following a collision in the Parkland County and Enoch region on July 16.
Yesterday, around 3:26 p.m., Parkland and Enoch RCMP responded to a collision between an SUV and a pickup truck on Highway 627 and Highway 60.
Police say the two occupants of the SUV, a 69-year-old male driver and 64-year-old female passenger, were declared deceased upon RCMP arrival.
The driver of the pickup truck reportedly received serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
The RCMP says a collision reconstructionist attended the scene, and the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
The RCMP sends its condolences to the family and friends of all involved.
