The Village of Breton reports that Deputy Mayor and Councillor Glory Tornack has died.
Village officials say that throughout her years of public service, Tornack demonstrated leadership, integrity, and a commitment to the growth and well-being of the community.
As a member of the local government and a dedicated volunteer, Tornack’s legacy will last for years to come. Village officials also say that as a member of the Breton Royal Purple, her gravy will be missed at the Christmas community suppers.
“We are grateful for her many years of service and the positive impact she had on our community as a dedicated volunteer and business owner,” the village comments. “Glory will be fondly remembered for her fiery, compassionate personality and will be greatly missed.”
Council and administration extend their condolences to Tornack’s friends, families and all who knew her.
